Four months after their marriage, Zac Brown and his wife, Kelly Yazdi, have decided to part ways and go their own ways.

On Friday, the lead singer of the Zac Brown Band, who is 45 years old, and Yazdi, who is 32 years old, revealed that they are going through with their divorce, as PEOPLE reported.

"We are in the process of divorce,” the pair told TMZ. “Our mutual respect for one another remains. We wish each other the best and will always appreciate our time together. As we navigate this personal matter, we simply request privacy during this time.”

Following the model's decision to delete her Instagram account and then re-join the social media platform without using her married name, the outlet stated that fans began to speculate that the couple may have ended their relationship.

As of right now, the exes are not following each other, and Brown is no longer visible on Yazdi's account.

The request for response that was made by PEOPLE was not immediately responded to by representatives for Brown and Yazdi.

TMZ reported a month ago that the separated couple tied the knot in Georgia during the month of August.

The news that the country star had proposed to the actress was confirmed by People in the month of December 2022.

"He proposed in Hawaii a while ago," a source told PEOPLE at the time. "It was very intimate and the couple has kept it very private."

Formerly, Brown was married to Shelly Brown, who is a jewelry designer. After being married for a total of twelve years, the couple made the decision to end their union in October of 2018.

Shelly and the singer of "Chicken Fried" have five children together: a son named Alexander, who is nine years old, and three daughters named Joni, Georgia, and Lucy, who are twelve, fifteen, and sixteen, respectively.

The connection between Zac and his wife at the time of their wedding was kept very discreet, and they did not make a lot of noise out of the wedding, at least not in public.

Following her decision to add "Brown" to her social media profile, there was a lot of speculation that they were getting married, and now we know that this is the truth.

She previously asserted on her social media that she is "a born adventurer, events producer, SAG-AFTRA actress, stuntwoman, and professional model." Zac's recently divorced ex-wife also appeared on the television shows  "Steve Austin's Broken Skull Challenge" and "Hawaii Five-O."
