Travis Kelce Denies Fake Breakup Document's Authenticity, Legal Action Underway

Rumors of an alleged breakup agreement between NFL star Travis Kelce and pop icon Taylor Swift have ignited controversy after a suspicious document surfaced online, claiming the two plan to separate on September 28, 2024.

Fox News reported that both Kelce’s representatives and the PR firm accused of crafting the document have dismissed it as a forgery and have launched legal actions against those responsible. The document first appeared on Reddit, where it quickly gained traction due to its bold claims about a prearranged breakup between the high-profile couple.

It was said to have originated from Full Scope PR, a Los Angeles-based public relations firm, and detailed a meticulous plan to manage public and media responses to the breakup. According to the document, Kelce and Swift would split amicably, citing “respect, privacy, and personal growth” as reasons for their decision.

Kelce’s representatives, however, wasted no time denying these rumors. According to a report from The Daily Mail, Kelce’s team emphasized that there were no such plans for a breakup.

They dismissed the document as “entirely false” and emphasized that the Kansas City Chiefs tight end remains focused on his career and relationship.

PR Firm Denies Any Involvement in Alleged Plan

Full Scope PR, the firm allegedly behind the document, also issued a statement refuting its involvement.

A spokesperson for the firm stated, “The claims are entirely false and fabricated and were not created, issued, or authorized by this agency.” The firm also announced it had engaged legal counsel to pursue action against those responsible for the document’s forgery.

The document laid out specific strategies for how the public would be informed about the supposed breakup. Among the key talking points included were “respect and privacy,” “professional focus,” and “personal growth.”

One example statement read: “Travis and Taylor have decided to part ways after careful considerations. They both value and respect each other’s personal lives and appreciate your respect for privacy during this time.” The message was allegedly meant to be distributed to major media outlets, ensuring widespread coverage of the breakup narrative.

In response to the viral spread of the document, Full Scope PR quickly moved to defend its reputation. “We have engaged our legal team to initiate proceedings against the individuals or entities responsible for the unlawful and injurious forgery of documents,” the agency said in a strongly-worded statement.

Neither Full Scope PR, Kelce’s agents, nor A&A Management, another agency linked to the NFL player, responded to further media inquiries. Fox News Digital reached out for comment, but no statements were provided.

Despite the chaos online, no solid evidence has surfaced linking Kelce or Swift to any prearranged breakup. Many fans of both stars have expressed skepticism about the document's legitimacy, especially given the legal response from the PR firm. While the controversy continues to swirl, both Kelce and Swift seem to be focusing on their respective careers.

Kelce and Swift’s Public Relationship Timeline

Kelce and Swift’s relationship, which was confirmed in September 2023, has garnered significant public attention. Swift famously attended Kelce’s first Kansas City Chiefs game, fueling media speculation about their relationship.

Since then, the two have been spotted at various events together, with Swift even traveling from Japan to Las Vegas to watch Kelce compete in the Super Bowl. Likewise, Kelce has supported Swift by attending several of her concerts around the globe.

As both stars continue to dominate in their fields—Kelce in the NFL and Swift with her global “Eras Tour”—fans have been captivated by the romance. However, the recent rumors have cast an unwanted spotlight on the couple, leading to a flurry of media attention.

Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs are set to begin their 2024 NFL regular season on Thursday with a game against the Baltimore Ravens.

The team is looking to defend their Super Bowl title, and Kelce remains a key player in their lineup. Meanwhile, Swift is continuing her highly successful "Eras Tour," with her next performance scheduled in Miami at the Hard Rock Stadium on October 18.

Despite the ongoing speculation, both Kelce and Swift have shown no signs of a pending breakup. Their public appearances and professional commitments suggest that their focus remains on their individual careers rather than personal matters. However, the swift legal action taken by Full Scope PR underscores the seriousness of the situation, as the firm looks to distance itself from the fake document.
