A new poll shows that a majority of Democrats want someone other than President Joe Biden to run for their party in 2024.
The ABC News/Washington Post poll released on Sunday revealed that 56% of Democrats preferred someone else.

"Looking two years further down the track, just 35 percent of Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents favor Biden for the 2024 nomination; 56 percent want the party to pick someone else," Breitbart News reported.
"Put simply, Democratic supporters are telling Biden if he cannot carry them with him he has no chance of winning over the country in 2024," it added.

The new poll shows that even in his own party, Biden is seen as a weak leader who is unlikely to gain strong support if he runs again.
The poll makes a strong case for Biden stepping down after one term to allow a new candidate to run instead. The results also show that there is an opportunity for Republicans to take back the White House, whether through a comeback bid by Donald Trump or another conservative.
