Pennsylvania's lawmakers voted to impeach Philadelphia's woke District Attorney whose soft-on-crime approach has added to the city's problems.
District Attorney Larry Krasner was impeached by the state's House of Representatives on Wednesday in a decisive vote.
Maybe there’s something good out of Pennsylvania after all:

"Krasner, who was first elected in 2017, won reelection in 2021 with the help of a $1.7 million boost from Soros's Justice and Public Safety PAC. During his tenure as district attorney, he has reformed Philadelphia's bail laws, overseen fewer convictions, and seen higher recidivism rates," Breitbart News reported.
"The Republican-led state House passed seven articles of impeachment against Krasner, advancing his impeachment trial to the GOP-led state Senate," it added.

"A spokeswoman for the state Senate majority leader told the Washington Free Beacon that the upper chamber shares 'the concerns expressed by leaders in the House of Representatives about how the crime crisis is affecting Philadelphia and the Commonwealth as a whole' and noted that 'the Senate's role in this process is to hear the evidence presented by the House of Representatives,'" the Free Beacon reported.
"Krasner is the latest Soros-backed prosecutor to face a removal effort. Los Angeles district attorney George Gascón (D.), who took $4.7 million from the liberal megadonor, narrowly dodged a recall election earlier this year," it added.
Philadelphians’ votes, and Philadelphia voters, should not be erased. History will harshly judge this anti-democratic authoritarian effort to erase Philly's votes – votes by Black, brown, and broke people in Philadelphia. And voters will have the last word. https://t.co/22wAaNGkw9

Krasner has argued that the votes of his city's people should not be erased, playing the victim in the impeachment process.
The clear 107-85 vote shows that a large majority of lawmakers saw him as a concern whose actions were worthy of removal.
The city's progressive policies may not be fixed overnight, but at least one more political figure will not be involved in supporting such efforts.
