Iranian supreme leader Ali Khamenei ridiculed President Joe Biden as "demented" during a Saturday speech as he blasted his country's stall nuclear deal with the West.
Khamenei also led a crowd in chanting "death to America" as part of mocking the president.

The mockery comes as nuclear negotiations have stalled in the wake of nationwide protests.

"America is at the forefront of this campaign by the enemy," said Khamenei. "All the American presidents, in the decades that have passed since the revolution, have fought the Islamic Republic on that front."
"Some of them have dropped dead, and some have been cast in the garbage bin of history, even if still alive," said Khamenei. "This includes the previous dope [Trump] and this poor, demented incumbent guy [Biden]."

"Not only are they [conditions] not being met, but things have got even worse," U.S. Ambassador to Israel Tom Nides said.
"So, my view today, we are nowhere close to having a deal with Iran."
"I am not holding my breath for any negotiation with the Iranians in this current form," Nides said.

The latest mocking certainly won't help as Iran seeks to move forward despite sanctions from the West.
The Iranian leader's words instead show a defiant government with no plans for peace in the near future.
