It would appear that the loyalty to Joe Biden has completely evaporated in the Democrat Party.
Former administration officials have all run to Jake Tapper after the fact to tell him how incapacitated Joe Biden was, and one former staffer is even helping Tapper promote his book.
Tapper’s new book, co-authored with Alex Thompson, blows the lid off the idea that nobody in the administration knew that Biden’s mental health was declining.
Here’s the thing, though: If you are a reporter of the magnitude of Tapper and Thompson, you have a duty to disclose the information as soon as you know it, not hold back until you can write a book and profit from it.
Tapper still could have written a book, but this story should have broken as soon as he started investigating it. Furthermore, he should have done more in real time to expose this, as the book shows evidence that staffers knew there were problems even when Biden was running for office during the 2020 election.
For instance, Tapper described the early problems for Biden, stating, "The first one is the one that everybody got to know during his vice presidency. And the second one was kind of a non-functioning Joe Biden. ... And that non-functioning Biden would rear his head increasingly starting in, like, 2019, 2020. And then, as his term went on, more and more behind the scenes."
If Tapper is expecting a job well done over this book, he is sorely mistaken because we all saw the decline that he defended and refused to report on during Biden’s presidency.
Tapper also reported in the book that campaign videos were being trashed by staff because the footage of Biden was “unusable.”
It also revealed that some of the Q&A for campaign ads were completely staged, with the book stating, "The campaign was trying to make it look like the president was out there taking off-the-cuff questions from voters in public. But the event was closed to reporters, and the campaign had the full list of questions that people would ask."
Even that footage, however, wound up being scrapped, with some saying the lighting was off, but other Biden staffers revealed the real issue was Joe Biden. For instance, one staffer claimed, "The man could not speak," adding that Biden had the "inability to find words, to remember what he was saying, to stay on one train of thought."
Career Democratic Party operative Nate Evans is now apparently selling his services to the highest bidder after having worked under Hillary Clinton, Kamala Harris, and Joe Biden.
Evans is now the senior vice president of Heller, which is the crisis management firm hired by Tapper and Thompson to handle their PR during the book’s publication.
He also worked in Biden’s State Department and as a senior adviser to then-Vice President Kamala Harris.
They all knew, yet none of them did anything about it, and I include Tapper and Thompson in that mess. Tapper is acting like he did not see what the rest of us saw, but that is a bunch of malarkey, to quote one of Joe Biden's favorite phrases. Tapper knew, and he saw it, but he hated Trump so much he just refused to report on it. This will go down as the biggest cover-up in White House history, even more so than Watergate, in my opinion.
