An Arizona court lifted an injunction on Friday that will now allow a state ban on abortion except to save a mother's life.
State Attorney General Mark Brnovich motioned to remove the injunction after the Supreme Court's reversal of Roe v. Wade in June.

"A Pima County judge lifted an injunction that was placed on AZ's abortion statute," Brnovich tweeted Friday.
"We applaud the court for upholding the will of the legislature and providing clarity and uniformity on this important issue. I have and will continue to protect the most vulnerable Arizonans," he added.

The state already had a ban on abortion after 15 weeks. The new law allows a near-total ban on the procedure in the state.
The news is good for the pro-life movement, but will certainly be challenged in further legal actions as being too restrictive.
