Ivanka Trump hosted four generations at her Miami home for her grandmother’s 100th birthday, calling the day incredibly special while honoring her late mother Ivana.
The former first daughter brought relatives together Saturday, Sept. 26, to celebrate Marie Zelníčková, known in the family as “Babi”, as the matriarch reached a full century of life.
Fox News Digital reported that three of Zelníčková’s grandchildren and all 10 of her great-grandchildren joined the gathering for portraits, stories, and a public tribute Ivanka later shared online.
Ivanka, 44, posted a series of photos on Instagram and wrote that the milestone captured “100 years of life, love, family and memories.” She did not hide what the room was missing.
Ivana Trump, Marie’s daughter and Ivanka’s mother, died in July 2022 at age 73. Her absence framed the day even as the family filled the house.
"It was incredibly special,"
Ivanka wrote, before turning directly to the loss that still shapes family gatherings.
"My mother, her beloved daughter, was deeply missed, but her love and presence was felt throughout the day in the stories we shared and in the family she loved so fiercely."
She closed the tribute to her grandmother with a clear line of credit across the generations the Trump family continues to raise in public view, a focus that also draws steady reader interest in Barron Trump’s move into college life.
"Babi, your century of love has shaped generations and lives in every one of us."
Jared Kushner stood with Ivanka and their children, Arabella, 15; Joseph, 12; and Theodore, 10. Eric Trump and Lara Trump brought Luke, 9, and Carolina, 7.
Donald Trump Jr. attended with his wife, Bettina Anderson, and his five children from his previous marriage to Vanessa Trump: Kai, Donald III, Tristan, Spencer, and Chloe. That branch of the family has seen its own recent personal chapters, including when Donald Trump Jr. bought out a Jupiter mansion share.
Zelníčková sat among them for a formal family portrait. The image matched the claim in Ivanka’s post: four generations in one place, with the great-grandchildren now old enough to stand in the frame.
Older photos Ivanka shared underlined how long this bond has run. A Thanksgiving dinner image from Nov. 23, 2000, at Mar-a-Lago showed Eric, Marie, Tiffany Trump, Ivanka, and cousin Robert Desmond. Another from March 18, 2006, captured Ivanka with her grandmother at the same Palm Beach estate. On Thanksgiving Day 2008, Ivanka held her niece Kai beside Zelníčková again at Mar-a-Lago, nearly 18 years before the Miami centennial.
Earlier this year on “The Diary of a CEO” podcast, Ivanka grew emotional describing the woman who helped raise her and now lives with her family. She called her grandmother “unbelievably nurturing” and said having her in their home is “a blessing.”
“I have a lot of love for this woman,” she said on the podcast. She added a harder lesson that fits a family that has absorbed public pressure and private loss: “You can’t take things for granted in life, and I’ve learned that in numerous ways.” Coverage of the broader Trump household often swings from celebration to threat, including reports that Iran put a bounty on Barron Trump.
The Sept. 26 party put that gratitude in plain sight. Marie Zelníčková reached 100 with her daughter gone and her grandchildren determined to keep the line intact, the same family orbit watched closely when Melania Trump skipped a Dallas GOP convention appearance and when foreign actors targeted the first family in uglier ways, as in an Iran-linked agency’s assassination blueprint.
Strong families keep showing up for the milestones that money and politics cannot manufacture. A century of one grandmother’s steady love is the kind of inheritance that still matters.
