White House blasts House Republicans for contempt of Congress proceedings

President Joe Biden's administration is in full panic and the White House has been lashing out at House Republicans for their contempt of Congress charges against FBI Director Christopher Wray.

House Republicans are impeaching Wray for refusing to divulge an unclassified, subpoenaed document that outlined an exchange of money for policy decisions between President Joe Biden and an unnamed foreign national.

The document proves that President Biden accepted money in return for making a certain policy decision on behalf of a foreign entity. Wray and the FBI attempted to keep that information from Congress.

For starters, President Biden should be impeached immediately and Wray will be lucky if being held in contempt of Congress is the only thing that happens to him.

White House panicking

White House spokesman Ian Sams took to Twitter to say, "This silly charade by @JamesComer is yet another reminder that his so-called "investigations" are political stunts not meant to uncover facts but to spread thin innuendo to attack the President and get himself media attention and the Fox News spotlight."

The FBI has already admitted the document is real and Wray's refusal to provide the document to the House Oversight Committee demonstrates that this document was worth keeping away from Republicans.

Representative James Comer (R-KY) issued a statement saying, "While Director Wray – after a month of refusing to even acknowledge that the form existed – has offered to allow us to see the documents in person at FBI headquarters, we have been clear that anything short of producing these documents to the House Oversight Committee is not in compliance with the subpoena. If the FBI fails to hand over the FD-1023 form as required by the subpoena, the House Oversight Committee will begin contempt of Congress proceedings."

Holding Wray in contempt of Congress sends a strong message that the FBI no longer has carte blanche to protect the Biden administration.

The mainstream media has been suspiciously silent on the existence of the document proving President Biden engaged in bribery. But that hasn't stopped Democrats from crying foul.

House Oversight Ranking Member Jamie Raskin (D-MD) said, "Despite these extraordinary accommodations—and the fact that Republicans have claimed to have access to the very information subpoenaed—Chairman Comer has continued to insist he will hold the FBI Director in contempt."

End of the road

President Biden's presidency could very well be at the end of the road. While it is unlikely Republicans could impeach and convict the President, voters will certainly want him gone next year.

Pending the investigation, the House very well could impeach President Biden since they hold a majority. However, there is zero chance that the Democrat-held Senate would vote to convict and remove Biden.

Nonetheless, no amount of help from the mainstream media will save President Biden from having to explain why he is involved in million dollar bribes.

Furthermore, if Wray is held in contempt and removed from his post, his successor may not be so eager to protect the Biden administration.
