Former Fox News personality Tucker Carlson and former White House adviser Neil Patel have formed a partnership to create a new independent media venture.
According to a story published by Breitbart News, which cites The Wall Street Journal as a source of information, the two individuals want to build the company by raising hundreds of millions of dollars.
According to the article, the new media site would be based on lengthier versions of the free films that Carlson has been frequently sharing on Elon Musk's Twitter since his resignation from Fox News. However, the new media platform would ultimately be powered by subscriptions as its primary revenue source.
Reuters reached out to Carlson for comment, but he did not immediately react to the request. Carlson is best known for hosting the highly-rated show "Tucker Carlson Tonight" on Fox.

According to Breitbart News, Tucker Carlson and Fox News split ways in April when the parent company, Fox Corp, resolved a lawsuit for $787.5 million that claimed the news network defamed Dominion Voting Systems by broadcasting accusations of election-rigging.
The lawsuit alleged that the news network defamed the corporation by airing false election-rigging claims. Because to the split, Carlson's lengthy streak of success at the network came to an end.
With an average of 4.56 million viewers, the Tucker Carlson Tonight program took over the top spot as the highest-rated primetime cable show in April 2020.
This victory allowed it to surpass Hannity as the most popular cable news program overall. A quarterly average of 4.33 million viewers watched the program during the second quarter of the year 2020.
In the whole history of cable news, that was the highest number of viewers ever recorded for any given show.

According to Mediaite in 2022, “Carlson [was] the number-one watched host among Democrats in the key 25-54 age demographic – across all networks” during the month of October. This was true across all demographics.
Carlson is going to make it his goal to achieve the same level of support in his new venture.
The primetime commentator had previously stated that he would revive his show on the social media site "soon" in a video that was uploaded on Twitter in the month of May.
In June, he debuted the first episode of his brand-new show, which is titled "Tucker on Twitter."
According to a report that was published by Axios in June, Fox News took action against the former prime-time presenter by alerting his legal team and claiming that he had violated his contract with the network when he created his own Twitter show.
