Trump's J6 case rigged by left-wing appeals panel

In order to achieve success with their 2024 presidential campaign strategy of imprisoning the incumbent front-runner, the Democrats require substantial backing from pivotal justices.

Judge Tanya Chutkan of the District Court has made every effort to expedite the proceedings in one of the intricate lawsuits that the Democratic Party has lodged against former President Donald Trump, as The Federalist reported.

The typical duration for a federal fraud and conspiracy case to reach trial is approximately two years. However, in a surprising development, the trial is scheduled to start in March, seven months after Trump was indicted, thanks to the collaborative efforts of the contentious special counsels Jack Smith and Chutkan.

Judge Florence Pan of the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals is similarly contributing to the effort to grant Trump considerably less time to prepare for trial than other defendants.

She presided over a panel that expedited an appeal last week so that Smith could achieve his objective of obtaining a speedy conviction before one of the infamously partisan juries in Washington, D.C.

“Any fair-minded observer has to agree” that Smith and Chutkan are acting based on the election schedule, conceded former federal prosecutor and left-wing pundit Elie Honig.

“Just look at Jack Smith’s conduct in this case. The motivating principle behind every procedural request he’s made has been speed, has been getting this trial in before the election.”

Trump and his counsel must prepare for one of the most complex and unusual trials in American history in months, whereas hundreds of defendants in the Department of Justice's Jan. 6 proceedings have had years to prepare.

Trump's lawyers requested Chutkan to recuse herself in September due to her predisposition toward the previous president and his supporters. Chutkan, the foreign-born “scion of Marxist revolutionaries,” is known for her inflammatory criticism of Trump and his supporters. The request was denied.

Trump's attorneys sought for the complaint to be dismissed in October on multiple grounds, including presidential immunity, freedom of speech, Fifth Amendment double jeopardy and due process, and others. Chutkan ruled against Trump in all cases by Dec. 1.

Smith accomplished two things on Dec. 11: He requested that the D.C. Circuit and Supreme Court expedite Trump's appeal. He also informed the lower court that the D.C. Circuit has jurisdiction while the Supreme Court considers the petition. Democrats seem to want to accelerate the trial and conviction of their biggest political opponent to dominate the election.

Smith requested the D.C. Circuit Court to order Trump's attorneys to prepare and file their opening brief within 10 days, give the government an extra week to respond, and give Trump's attorneys three days to react.

Trump's staff had two days to argue against Smith's surprisingly short timeframe. Trump's legal team wrote in its 16-page response that the case was unprecedented, difficult, and raised important constitutional problems, and that speeding the process would violate Trump's due process and Sixth Amendment rights. Trump's lawyers also stressed that this trial's issues will effect all presidents, not just the one Democrats hate.
