Trump torches Biden over botching of Laken Riley's name during SOTU address

The death of college student Laken Riley reignited a top issue in the coming 2024 election -- the illegal immigration crisis plaguing the southern U.S. border.

President Joe Biden has taken extreme backlash over his seemingly open-border policies that allowed murderous thugs like Riley's killer to easily reenter the United States and commit crimes.

Many are saying that former President Donald Trump has been vindicated in a substantial way, given that his border policies significantly mitigated the flow of illegal thugs pouring into America.

Biden has a lot of explaining to do, as he once described Trump's border policies as "illegal."

Trump hits Biden

The former president rightfully trashed Biden at a recent Georgia rally after the 81-year-old president botched Laken Riley's name during the State of the Union address.

During the MAGA rally, held over the weekend in Rome, Georgia, Trump reminded the audience that Biden's approach to border security upon taking office has allowed dangerous record numbers of illegals into the United States.

"What a shame: Laken Riley would be alive today if Joe Biden had not willfully and maliciously eviscerated the borders of the United States and set loose thousands and thousands of dangerous criminals into our country," Trump said.

He added, "To her family tonight, I promise you, I will demand justice for Laken."

Trump vowed to put an end to the illegal immigration nightmare that has taken a deadly and sickening toll on the streets of America since Biden took office and canceled Trump's effective border policies.

"I will fight like no one has ever fought before to ensure that what happened to this American daughter — this incredible, incredible American — that this never happens to any other daughter or anyone else ever again," the former president said.

"Lincoln Riley"

During his animated and unhinged State of the Union address, Biden, presumably feeling pressured to acknowledge Riley's death, didn't do himself or his campaign any favors after pronouncing her name wrong.

Biden went off-script and attempted to say Riley's name after Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene shouted "Say her name!" Biden's resulting response was disrespectful and cringeworthy.

It's clear that Biden, nor his administration, give a rip about Laken Riley's tragic death or the ongoing, deadly crisis at the southern U.S. border, and he'll likely pay for that in November.
