Trump staunchly supports AG Bondi despite Epstein file backlash

President Donald Trump is standing firm behind Attorney General Pam Bondi, brushing off critics who demand her resignation over the Jeffrey Epstein case.

Some MAGA loyalists are up in arms, but Trump’s not having it. He’s calling Bondi’s work “fantastic” and urging unity over division, according to Fox News.

On Saturday, January 11, 2025, Trump defended Bondi as the Department of Justice faced heat for its handling of Epstein’s files.

The controversy erupted after a DOJ and FBI joint review, released the next day, debunked rumors of an elite client list tied to Epstein’s crimes. It’s a story that refuses to die, much to Trump’s frustration.

The joint review, dropped on Sunday, January 12, 2025, was clear: no shadowy roster of global bigwigs exists in Epstein’s records. Conspiracy theorists got a reality check, but some Trump supporters still cried foul. They’re pointing fingers at Bondi, claiming she’s botched the job.

Bondi Faces MAGA Pushback

Bondi, undeterred, noted the FBI delivered a “truckload” of Epstein files to the DOJ. That’s a lot of paper to sift through, yet critics expect instant answers. The progressive crowd loves watching conservatives squabble over this, don’t they?

Trump, never one to mince words, called Epstein a “creep” during a recent Cabinet meeting. When a reporter pressed Bondi on the issue, he cut in, exasperated: “Are you still talking about Jeffrey Epstein?” It’s a fair question—why does this ghost keep haunting the headlines?

The DOJ’s review also reaffirmed that Epstein took his own life in a New York City jail cell in 2019. He was awaiting further sex trafficking charges when he died. No surprises there, but some still cling to wild theories about his demise.

Trump’s not just defending Bondi; he’s slamming the obsession with Epstein as a distraction. “For years, it’s Epstein, over and over again,” he said, suggesting it’s a trap set by the radical left. He’s got a point—why does this keep resurfacing when bigger issues loom?

Some MAGA supporters aren’t buying Trump’s defense, with a few even calling for Bondi’s head. The backlash has sparked tension within the movement. Division over a dead predator’s files? That’s exactly what the woke crowd wants.

FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino reportedly butted heads with Bondi over her approach. Rumors swirl that he’s mulling resignation if she stays on. That’s a bold move, but is it worth fracturing the team?

Epstein Files Stir Division

Trump’s take is blunt: the Epstein saga is a non-issue compared to real priorities like voter fraud and political corruption. “The FBI must be focused on investigating Voter Fraud, Political Corruption, ActBlue,” he wrote, urging a focus on what matters. Chasing Epstein’s ghost won’t fix a broken system.

Bondi’s defenders argue she’s tackling the tough stuff, like election integrity, while critics fixate on a settled case. The DOJ’s conclusion that Epstein acted alone in his death should close the book. Yet, some refuse to turn the page.

Trump’s frustration is palpable: “They created the Epstein Files, just like they created the FAKE Hillary Clinton/Christopher Steele Dossier.” He sees a pattern—manufactured scandals to kneecap MAGA. The left’s playbook hasn’t changed, has it?

The President’s rallying cry is for unity: “We’re on one Team, MAGA, and I don’t like what’s happening.” Infighting over Epstein only weakens the cause. Bondi’s got bigger fish to fry, and Trump knows it.

He’s pushing Bondi to keep her eyes on the prize—investigating claims of a “Rigged and Stolen” 2020 election. “LET PAM BONDI DO HER JOB — SHE’S GREAT!” he declared. That’s the kind of leadership that cuts through the noise.
