Trump son-in-law advocates for Palestine

When Donald Trump added Ivanka Trump’s husband, Jared Kushner, to the administration, there was a lot of eye-rolling on the right.

That instinct was, for the most part, proven right, as Kushner seemed to be the driving force for some liberal programs being put in place during the administration.

Even though Kushner no longer works for the administration, he was apparently tapped into service for the Israel ceasefire deal, but what he just did is unforgivable, at least in my eyes.

The First Step Act

Go back to Trump’s first administration for proof of what I am speaking about here.

Kushner was the driving force in the White House for the First Step Act, which was a program for prison reform. Some said it did not go far enough, others said it was allowing hardened criminals to walk free.

I was in the latter group, and was joined by some high-profile Republicans, such as Sens. Tom Cotton (R-AR), John Kennedy (R-LA), Ben Sasse (R-NE), and Lisa Murkowski (R-AK).

I just knew that anyone who was set free from this program and who committed a crime would have to be owned by Trump, and the very first person who did was thrown all over the media (mind you, the media ignores when an illegal set free by Biden kills or rapes someone).

The Abraham Accords

Kushner’s legacy in the Trump administration will always be the Abraham Accords, but it was hardly a venture of love.

In the aftermath of the first Trump administration, Kushner managed to cash in from the connections he made from these deals.

The accords were the diplomatic normalization between Israel and other Middle East nations with which it was squabbling.

The first two countries were the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, which signed on September 15, 2020.

Advocating for Palestine

If you read my reports regularly, you know I feel as though Palestine is a terror state for both turning over Gaza to Hamas as well as not helping Israel fight Hamas during this war.

Even so, Kushner stated, “The biggest message that we’ve tried to convey to the Israeli leadership now is that, now that the war is over, if you want to integrate Israel with the broader Middle East, you have to find a way to help the Palestinian people thrive and do better.”

Journalist Katie Pavlich feels much the same way I do about this, and she responded, “How about Qatar and Turkey work to help the Palestinian people thrive? How about they help themselves by breaking away from their death cult? Israel gave Gazans work permits & cancer treatments. In response, they got October 7, enabled by endless ‘aid’ for terrorism.”

That statement by Kushner just sounds like something a Democrat would say about Palestine. I think Israel has done enough for Palestine, most notably removing Hamas from the picture. So, how about the rest of the Middle East kick in if they want to see Palestine thrive?
