The media hates it when Donald Trump is a human, and boy, were they probably steaming after Trump had a tender exchange with a Ukrainian journalist.
Anytime this happens, the media goes berserk, and Dems go off the deep end because it makes Trump look human when they prefer to paint him as a monster.
During the RNC, Trump’s granddaughter, Kai, who has a great relationship with Trump due to their connection through golf, gave a speech that was blasted by liberals and the media.
Whoopi Goldberg went nuclear, saying that the appearance of Kai was only done to “humanize” Trump, telling her viewers not to “fall for” the stunt.
These are the same people who gush over Joe Biden doing a presser with Hunter Biden, who is best known for spending time with escorts and doing drugs.
They want to make the man out to be a monster, but that is not even the worst example of their despicable behavior.
During Trump’s joint session address, Trump acknowledged 13-year-old cancer survivor DJ Daniel, and the media lost its collective mind, as did some Democrats, who refused to stand and applaud the young man.
MSNBC host Rachel Maddow went way over the line, stating, "For the record, and this is disgusting, the president made a spectacle out of praising a young man who thus far survived pediatric cancer, as if the president had something to do with that.”
Her comments were horrifying, but they were largely shrugged off by everyone simply because Trump was on the receiving end of them.
Every president invites someone like DJ to a joint session address, and 99/100 times, both sides will applaud, but not when Trump is in the house.
That brings us to the latest exchange, which took place between Trump and a Ukrainian journalist whose husband is in the middle of the war between Ukraine and Russia.
When she informed Trump about this, he stated, "Wow. That's rough stuff, right? That's tough. Let me just tell you, they do want to have the anti-missile missiles, as they call them, the Patriots. And we're going to see if we can make some available."
He later added, "You know, they're very hard to get. We need them too. We were supplying them to Israel, and they're very effective. 100% effective. Hard to believe how effective. And they do want that more than any other thing, as you probably know. That's a very good question. And I wish you a lot of luck. I mean, I can see that it's very upsetting to you."
Had that been Biden, Obama, or Clinton, the headlines would have blown up that day, touting the compassion the president showed. But it’s Trump, so it was either ignored or criticized. It turns out the party of empathy and tolerance is neither tolerant nor empathetic, that is, unless you bow to their will.
