Trump declares war on Marjorie Taylor Greene over Epstein files, support for Israel

President Donald Trump has unleashed a firestorm of criticism against Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., pulling his once-steadfast endorsement in a dramatic public feud that’s got everyone talking.

Fox News reported that this clash, erupting over policy disagreements and personal barbs, centers on Trump’s decision to withdraw support for Greene on Friday, while accusing her of abandoning core Republican values.

Greene, who stormed into Congress in 2021 as a fierce Trump loyalist, has recently turned into one of his loudest critics on hot-button issues like U.S.-Israel relations and the push to unseal the Epstein files.

On the day of the endorsement withdrawal, Trump took to Truth Social, branding Greene a “ranting lunatic” and claiming he’s too busy with national duties to entertain her calls.

“With 219 congressmen/women, 53 U.S. senators, 24 cabinet members, almost 200 countries, and an otherwise normal life to lead, I can’t take a ranting lunatic’s call every day,” Trump posted on Truth Social on Friday, Nov. 14, 2025. Let’s be honest, when the leader of the free world says he’s dodging your calls, that’s a burn hotter than a Georgia summer.

By Saturday, Trump doubled down, slapping Greene with nicknames like “Lightweight Congresswoman” and “Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Greene” in a series of Truth Social posts that pulled no punches.

Greene’s Shift Sparks Trump’s Ire

Trump didn’t stop at name-calling; he accused Greene of veering “Left” and flopping during an appearance on “The View” on Nov. 4, 2025, where co-host Sunny Hostin hinted at a similar ideological drift. If there’s one thing conservatives can’t stand, it’s the whiff of compromise on a platform as progressive as that show.

Greene, for her part, denied any leftward turn on “The View,” but Trump latched onto the narrative, even calling her a “RINO” – Republican In Name Only – in his Saturday posts. That’s the kind of label that stings worse than a primary challenge, which Trump hinted at supporting against her in 2026.

Indeed, Trump promised “complete and unyielding support” for a suitable rival on Friday, signaling this feud might just be the opening act of a longer political showdown.

On Saturday, Greene hit back on X, thanking her supporters and suggesting Trump’s attacks stem from her push to release the Epstein files, a cause she claims exposes powerful elites. She even shared screenshots of her conservative credentials, boasting an “A” on the “Liberty Score” from Conservative Review while pointing out others’ failing grades.

“This and the Epstein files are why I’m being attacked by President Trump. It really makes you wonder what is in those files and who and what country is putting so much pressure on him?” Greene wrote on X on Saturday. Her words raise eyebrows, but one wonders if this conspiracy-laden defense will sway the MAGA base or just deepen the rift.

Greene also posted screenshots of texts she sent to Trump about the Epstein files, referencing alleged ties to figures like Bill and Hillary Clinton, claiming this triggered his wrath after his Friday post on Nov. 14, 2025.

Policy Clashes at the Feud’s Core

The heart of this spat seems to lie in policy disagreements, with Greene accusing Trump of targeting her to intimidate other Republicans ahead of a vote on the Epstein files.

She’s framing herself as a lone warrior for transparency, while Trump and his administration betray promises made to MAGA voters during the 2024 election.

Whatever the truth, this public brawl between two titans of the conservative movement is a stark reminder that even the tightest alliances can fray under the weight of principle. The MAGA faithful deserve leaders who prioritize America First over personal grudges, and this spat risks distracting from the real fight against progressive overreach.
