Trump promises 'economic boom' if he's elected president, warns of collapse under Biden

Former President Donald Trump is stomping his GOP primary opponents and continues to gain steam going into his inevitable rematch with President Joe Biden.

According to Breitbart, on Saturday at a rally in New Hampshire, the former president energized the audience by pledging to bring the United States back to the economic conditions it enjoyed while he was president.

Trump's message was clear and simple: elect him in 2024, and on Day One, a new economic boom will emerge. Reelect Biden, and the United States is destined for a total economic collapse.

"The next economic boom will begin the instant the world knows that Crooked Joe Biden is gone, and Donald J. Trump has won four more years as president of the United States," Trump told the roaring crowd.

He added, "Powered by the momentum of our historic victory, by Christmas next year, the economy will be roaring back, energy prices will be plummeting, the hordes of people charging across our border will have ended—the invasion will have stopped."

In contrast, Trump made it clear that another Biden presidency will surely be the end of America as we know it.

"The Biden administration is running on the fumes of the great success of the Trump administration—without us, this thing would have crashed to levels never seen before, and if we are not elected, we’ll have a Depression very much like the Depression of 1929," he said.

Trump's 2024 strategy has shifted in recent months from attacking his opponents to concentrating almost solely on Biden's failures as a president.

He's doing so because he's beating his opponents by double digits, sometimes upwards of 50 points, in critical GOP primary polls.

"Not one thing has gotten better under Crooked Joe Biden," Trump said. "Under the Trump administration, you were better off, your family was better off, your neighbors were better off, your communities were better off, and our country was better off."

Trump, despite facing multiple indictments and a never-ending stream of legal issues, continues to be the top choice of Republican voters.

He has also gained impressive ground among several minority voting groups, including Black, Hispanic, and Asian voters.
