Trump is expected to introduce strict measures to prevent Chinese land purchases if he wins the November election, contrasting his approach with that of Vice President Kamala Harris.
Trump’s appearance in Pennsylvania will focus on CCP attempts to purchase farmland in the U.S., a subject that has raised alarms across the political spectrum.
His event will take place on Monday, where he will be joined by former Congressman Lee Zeldin and former acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell. Both figures have been vocal about the security risks associated with Chinese land acquisitions, particularly near sensitive sites like military bases.
The issue of Chinese entities buying American land has gained more attention in recent years. Sen. JD Vance and Sen. Tom Cotton are among those who have raised concerns over the potential threat to U.S. sovereignty, warning that the CCP’s increasing presence could have national security implications.
Trump’s Monday event aims to spotlight these concerns while proposing solutions to address them.
One of the key concerns is the acquisition of farmland, a resource critical to the U.S. food supply. Zeldin has argued that these purchases could be a direct threat to the nation's food security, with the potential for CCP-affiliated groups to control essential resources. "The CCP is threatening our food supply," Zeldin warned during a past speech.
In an interview with Breitbart News, Trump expressed his determination to prevent further foreign acquisition of American land.
“We have to have control of our land,” Trump emphasized during the interview. He further stressed that the U.S. government must ensure its sovereignty over land, borders, and economic interests.
“We have to make sure we’re in charge of our own country,” Trump said. He criticized current leadership for allowing the nation to be “sold out,” comparing the situation to China, where foreign entities would not be allowed to purchase critical assets. “Do you think China would let us go in and buy their land? I don’t think so,” Trump added.
If elected, Trump’s policies would include firm restrictions on the sale of farmland and other industries to foreign entities, particularly those with ties to the Chinese government. He also highlighted telecommunications as another sector where he had previously imposed restrictions.
"People from other countries wanted to do our telecommunications, and I wouldn’t allow it,” Trump said, reinforcing his commitment to protecting key national industries.

Trump’s position on China also includes criticism of Vice President Kamala Harris, who he believes is ill-equipped to confront global leaders like Xi Jinping. In his interview with Breitbart, Trump dismissed the idea that Harris could handle diplomatic negotiations with China.
“No, not even on the most basic conversations,” he responded when asked if Harris would be able to hold her own in talks with the Chinese leader.
Trump continued his critique by pointing to Harris’ public appearances, saying, “She can’t answer a question from Oprah Winfrey,” referring to a previous interview. He believes that a strong leader is needed to stand up to China and other global powers, and that Harris’ record does not demonstrate that capability.
The event in Pennsylvania, organized by the Protecting America Initiative, will provide a platform for Trump, Zeldin, and Grenell to discuss what they see as a growing national security risk posed by the CCP’s activities in the U.S.
