On Saturday, former President Donald Trump hosted a rally in Mosinee, Wisconsin, attracting a large crowd of supporters. The rally, part of Trump’s continued efforts to promote his 2024 presidential campaign, took a brief turn when a medical emergency occurred in the audience.
Newsweek reported that midway through his speech, one individual in the crowd collapsed, prompting a pause in the rally. Trump addressed the situation by expressing his gratitude to the doctors in attendance for their swift assistance.
“Thank you very much. Doctors, thank you very much, we appreciate it. If anything happens, let us know,” he said, reassuring the audience.
The incident brought a brief moment of concern, but the rally resumed after medical personnel attended to the individual.
Trump then transitioned back to his prepared remarks, continuing his discussion on a variety of political topics.
As the rally progressed, Trump expressed appreciation for recent political endorsements. Among those mentioned were Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard, two figures known for their break from traditional party lines.
“Isn’t it great to have a Kennedy with us? Isn’t that nice?” Trump said, referring to RFK Jr., a member of the well-known Kennedy family who recently voiced support for Trump’s campaign.
Trump praised Kennedy’s commitment to the country, noting, “He’s a great guy. I’ve known him a long time. He’s a great guy and he really wants what’s good for the country and to have his endorsement is a very important thing.”
Additionally, Trump highlighted the endorsement of former Democratic Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, who has gained attention for her outspoken criticism of the Democratic establishment.
“Tulsi endorsed us too, almost simultaneously, and we love Tulsi. She’s been fantastic. She is a woman of great common sense,” Trump continued.
The rally's primary focus was the upcoming November 5th election, which Trump referred to as a pivotal moment for the future of the United States.
With a sense of urgency, Trump emphasized the critical importance of this date for his supporters, framing it as a “liberation day” for the country.
“To every citizen who is sick and tired of the parasitic political class in Washington that sucks our country of its blood and treasure, November 5th will be your liberation day,” Trump proclaimed.
He further stressed that this election would be one of the most important in the nation's history, adding, “November 5th, this year will be the most important day in the history of our country. Because we’re not gonna have a country anymore if we don’t win.”
Throughout his speech, Trump underscored the significance of maintaining the momentum leading up to the election, urging his supporters to stay involved and engaged in the political process.
