Trump Embraces RFK Jr's Support And Commits To Unsealing JFK Assassination Files

In a pivotal rally in Glendale, Arizona, Donald Trump received the endorsement of Robert F Kennedy Jr., following the suspension of Kennedy's independent presidential campaign.

The Guardian reported that Trump committed to releasing all classified JFK assassination documents and investigating historical presidential threats if elected.

The former President promised to unlock the remaining secrets surrounding the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

He announced plans to establish a new commission aimed at examining past and any potential assassination attempts on U.S. presidents.

Trump cited a recent threat against him, on July 13, as a catalyst for this initiative. He expressed his concerns about protecting future leaders and unraveling historical mysteries that have long captivated the American public.

A Surprising Endorsement at Arizona Rally

The endorsement by Kennedy, once a third-party contender, took many by surprise. At the rally, supporters greeted him with enthusiastic chants of "Bobby! Bobby!"—a homage to his father and uncle's political legacies.

Kennedy expressed his continued commitment to influence national issues by withdrawing from swing states to avoid siphoning votes from Trump, whom he praised for his resistance against "totalitarianism" and for being a potential leader to restore national health.

Despite remaining on the ballot in non-swing states, Kennedy's strategic retreat from critical electoral battlegrounds highlights his support for Trump's campaign over his own presidential ambitions.

Kerry Kennedy, Robert's sister, vocally opposed his endorsement of Trump. She stated that their father, Robert F. Kennedy, would have been strongly against Trump's political ideology and tactics.

Adding to the internal family discord, five of Kennedy’s siblings publicly criticized the endorsement, describing it as contrary to the ideals their family stands for. They lamented it as "a sad ending to a sad story."

Despite the family backlash, Kennedy stood firm in his support, focusing on collaborative efforts with Trump to address national health issues, especially concerning children.

Heat Exhaustion and Electoral Complications

The rally was not without its challenges, as over 100 attendees suffered from heat exhaustion during the event, highlighting the intense Arizona heat and the high turnout.

Shortly before the rally, Kennedy's team requested his removal from the Arizona ballot, an action that was completed successfully.

However, similar requests in Michigan, Nevada, and Wisconsin were not processed in time, keeping him on the ballot in those states.

This decision to withdraw from select ballots underlines the complexity of electoral strategies in tightly contested races.

Trump and Kennedy announced a joint initiative to create a panel dedicated to investigating health issues affecting U.S. children, an area where Kennedy has been notably vocal, albeit controversially due to his stance on vaccines.
