Trump Calls For Harris's Impeachment Over Allowing Thousands Of Illegal Aliens To Go Free

Former President Donald Trump has ramped up his accusations against Vice President Kamala Harris, targeting her approach to immigration and border security.

The Hill reported that Trump accused Harris of gross mismanagement at the border and has demanded her impeachment and prosecution.

Over this past weekend, Trump took to Truth Social to call for Vice President Kamala Harris’s impeachment. This statement followed Harris's recent visit to Arizona, where she inspected the southern U.S. border conditions.

Trump’s criticism did not stop online. By Sunday, at a rally in Erie, Pennsylvania, he escalated his attacks, portraying Harris as a principal architect of what he describes as the worst border crisis in U.S. history.

According to Trump, the Vice President's actions have had deadly consequences. "Hundreds of people have been murdered because of her action at the border," Trump declared, asserting that the crisis will lead to further violence.

Trump's Assertive Statements On Immigration

On Truth Social, Trump expressed his views bluntly, calling the situation with migrants at the border "the biggest crime story of our time." He reiterated his view that Harris should either resign or be forcibly removed from office through impeachment.

This line of attack is not new for Trump, who had previously criticized Harris before her visit to Arizona, labeling her the "architect of this destruction."

At his Pennsylvania rally, Trump called for not only Harris's impeachment but also her prosecution, blaming her directly for crimes related to immigration.

In response, Vice President Harris has refuted Trump’s claims, pointing to her efforts to manage border issues vigorously. During a rally in Nevada last August, Harris criticized Trump for his hindrance of bipartisan immigration reform.

“Donald Trump doesn’t want to fix this problem. He talks a big game about a lot of things,” Harris said, highlighting the political maneuvers she believes Trump used to derail meaningful legislative reforms.

Harris failed to mention that the legislation would have simply codified the Biden administration's current dangerous policy of letting criminal aliens roam free.

Harris Cites Legislative Challenges During Trump's Presidency

At her speech in Douglas, Arizona, Harris expanded on the obstacles she faced due to Trump’s policies. “Earlier this year, we had a chance to pass the toughest bipartisan border security bill in decades, but Donald Trump tanked the bill because he thought it would help him win an election,” she asserted.

She continued to outline the failures during Trump’s presidency, including the lack of action on increasing the number of immigration judges and border agents, creating lawful pathways for migrants, and updating the asylum system.

Harris emphasized that the challenges at the border are not only national but also regional, requiring cooperation with other governments, which she accuses Trump of neglecting.

The debate over immigration is set to continue as both Harris and Trump articulate their views to the public. Trump’s call for impeachment signals a significant intensification in his critique of the current administration’s policies.

Meanwhile, Harris remains firm in her defense, attributing ongoing issues to past failures and emphasizing her commitment to a robust approach to border security.

As the political battle over border management and immigration policy heats up, both figures are using this issue to galvanize their respective bases, reflecting the deeply polarized nature of current U.S. political discourse.
