This has been a bad week for Joe Biden and California Governor Gavin Newsom on the immigration front. Several reports broke this week of crimes by released illegal immigrants.
The one that is getting all the press, however, is an illegal immigrant trucker who was issued a license in California after having been released by the Biden administration, causing an accident that left several people dead.
A report surfaced on Wednesday of a child sex offender who had been previously deported, who was trying to get back into the country.
Authorities had stopped a vehicle suspected of human trafficking, which just happened to have Jose Aleman Arroyo inside.
Only two months before, he had been convicted of indecency with a child and assault in North Carolina.
Unlike states like California, Texas State Troopers are cooperating with federal officials, and Arroya was turned over to Border Patrol.
When a crime is committed by someone who should not have been in this country, that is a crime I call a preventable crime because it never would have happened if that person were not in the country.
Regular crimes are bad enough, but when they involve sexual assault or the loss of life, it makes it even more tragic for the victims.
In 2022, Jashanpreet Singh was apprehended for crossing the border illegally and released to the interior of the country to a wait his hearing rather than being immediately deported.
He has now been arrested on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated after causing a massive accident on the I-10 Freeway in San Bernardino County. This is now the second trucking crash caused by an illegal immigrant who was licensed in California. Had Biden been following our immigration laws, those people would still be alive today.
The story gets worse, as a report surfaced on Fox News regarding a trucking company owned by an illegal immigrant that was taking in taxpayer money before a fatal crash.
Borko Stankovic allegedly caused a crash on U.S. Highway 20 in Indiana on October 15. The truck hit Jeffrey Eberly, 54, who was driving the Subaru, and he died as a result of the injuries caused in the accident. Stankovic allegedly owned the company, which also had over $35,000 in Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans, our taxpayer money, funding the operation of an illegal immigrant.
Rosemary Jenks, policy director for the Immigration Accountability Project, stated, "Americans should be concerned that any illegal alien is able to access any government benefits. We all kind of know that under the Biden administration during COVID, there were no checks on who was getting money, who was taking out loans. But the fact is that illegal aliens should never be able to access our taxpayer dollars. That's just a fact. Those dollars should be reserved for Americans."
Democrats love to say that Trump’s policies will kill people, yet it is Democrat policies that actually are killing people.
