Tim Walz's Former Student Confirms Allegations, Walz Is A "Moaist To The Core"

Governor Tim Walz has been accused of holding Maoist doctrines and now a former student has come forward confirming the allegations amid calls for an investigation.

The Post Millennial reported that Walz faces accusations from a former student and scrutiny from the House Oversight Committee regarding his alleged ties to Communist China.

In the early 1990s, a student named "Shad" accompanied Gov. Tim Walz on a trip to China, where he noticed Walz's apparent admiration for the communist regime. This was the beginning of Walz's extensive engagement with China, including multiple visits over the years.

Starting in 1989, Walz participated in a Harvard University program that involved teaching high school while frequently visiting China. His travels included being in Hong Kong during the Tiananmen Square protests and later visiting the massacre site.

Throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, Walz took about 30 trips to China, engaging with students and educational entities. He was a visiting fellow at a Chinese university and took students on summer trips.

Marriage and Personal Ties to Chinese Historical Events

Walz's personal life also intersected with his interest in China. He married Gwen Whipple on the anniversary of the Tiananmen Square crackdown, and the couple honeymooned in China.

Shad recalls Walz buying multiple copies of Mao Zedong's "Little Red Book" during these trips, which Walz said he gifted to others. Shad likened these purchases to buying controversial historical texts.

According to Shad, Walz's fascination with Chinese communist philosophy was evident not only in his actions but also in his teaching.

"It was almost a daily revelation of how much he adores the communist regime," Shad stated.

Former President Donald Trump and other prominent Republicans have labeled Walz a "radical leftist" following his selection as Kamala Harris's running mate. This label has been fueled by Shad's allegations and Walz's frequent trips to China.

Shad's concerns about Walz's ideology are not new; he claims he has been aware of Walz's leanings for over 30 years, but his warnings were largely ignored until now.

Adding to the controversy, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer has called for an investigation into Walz's connections to Chinese Communist Party (CCP) entities and officials.

Senator Tom Cotton echoed these concerns, stating that Walz owes an explanation regarding his extensive interactions with China.

Defending Walz: Responses from Staff and Allies

Walz's administration has been accused of implementing policies reflective of a Maoist ideology, including stringent abortion laws and measures against free speech. Shad cited these policies as evidence of Walz's deep-seated beliefs.

However, Walz's staff have robustly defended his record. "Throughout his career, Governor Walz has stood up to the CCP, fought for human rights and democracy, and always put American jobs and manufacturing first," said Walz's spokesman in response to the allegations.

The spokesman further criticized Republicans for distorting facts to divert attention from their own agenda, asserting that Walz, alongside Vice President Harris, remains committed to competing with China while upholding American values and interests.

These allegations come at a critical time as Walz prepares for the upcoming elections with Kamala Harris. The narrative around his past and ideological leanings could significantly impact voter perceptions and campaign dynamics.

The debate over Walz's alleged Maoist sympathies is set to intensify as the House Oversight Committee progresses with its investigation.

Public and political scrutiny is likely to grow as more details emerge and as Walz's team continues to respond to these serious accusations.

As this political drama unfolds, the balance between accusations and defense presents a complex challenge for Walz, potentially influencing the broader political conversation surrounding the upcoming presidential campaign.
