Presidential candidate and Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) said that President Joe Biden is complicit in the Hamas attacks on Israel.
Scott argued that Biden's negotiations with Iran helped fund the current conflict with America's ally in the Middle East.

“Biden’s weakness invited attacks, his negotiations actually funded the attack in many ways, and Biden wanted Israel to stand down after the attack,” Scott said.
“It just makes Biden, our president, complicit in those attacks," he added.

"This morning, I spoke with Prime Minister Netanyahu about the horrific and ongoing attacks in Israel. The United States unequivocally condemns this appalling assault against Israel by Hamas terrorists from Gaza, and I made clear to Prime Minister Netanyahu that we stand ready to offer all appropriate means of support to the Government and people of Israel," Biden said in a statement.
"Terrorism is never justified. Israel has a right to defend itself and its people. The United States warns against any other party hostile to Israel seeking advantage in this situation. My Administration’s support for Israel’s security is rock solid and unwavering," he continued.

"Citizens of Israel,
We are at war, not in an operation or in rounds, but at war. This morning, Hamas launched a murderous surprise attack against the State of Israel and its citizens. We have been in this since the early morning hours. pic.twitter.com/C7YQUviItR— Prime Minister of Israel (@IsraeliPM) October 7, 2023
"Citizens of Israel, We are at war, not in an operation or in rounds, but at war," Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu shared early Saturday morning.
"This morning, Hamas launched a murderous surprise attack against the State of Israel and its citizens. We have been in this since the early morning hours," he noted.
Over 300 people were killed in Israel with many others injuries and some hostages reported.
Israel has called up its military reserves and is currently responding, with many people across the nation seeking refuge in bomb shelters.
The conflict is serious, with Scott noting that Biden's policies are partly to blame for the most recent attacks.
