Ted Cruz warns of Biden's 'Iranian spies' in the US government

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) is speaking out about three claimed Iranian spies working for the Biden administration.

Cruz shared the concerns during an interview with Fox News' "Sunday Morning Features."

Example #1

"Rob Malley was Joe Biden's chief negotiator for Iran. He's an incredible Iran sympathizer. He is an advocate, a passionate advocate for the disastrous Obama-Iran nuclear deal," Cruz said.

"But he also has extraordinarily bad judgment. He's been fired. He's had his security clearances stripped, which I want you to pause and think, just how bad does his conduct have to be to have his security clearances pulled by this ideological and radical White House?" he added.

Malley's team

"Three of Rob Malley's top advisers, his inner circle that he relied on, were Iranian operatives. They were recruited by the government of Iran," Cruz noted.

"They were directed by the Iranian foreign minister. They reported to the Iranian foreign minister," he continued.

More concerns

"House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Michael McCaul believes the Biden administration’s suspended special envoy to Iran, Rob Malley, 'compromised classified information' related to the US adversary," the New York Post reported.

"'It’s very concerning,' McCaul (R-Texas) said of the allegations against Malley during an interview with Fox News host Martha MacCallum on Thursday. 'He’s a special envoy for Iran. He is the principal architect, the negotiator on the Iran deal – to resurrect the Iran deal,'" it added.

Malley's issues have become even more concerning following Hamas attacks on Israel that left over 1,300 dead. He previously argued favorably about the terrorist group.

Prior to working with the Biden administration on Iran, Malley served in multiple roles under former President Barack Obama where he was involved with the original Iran nuclear deal in 2015. He also previously served under former President Bill Clinton and has been on the National Security Council.

Malley was removed from his role after leaked files connected with his three top aides were revealed, adding to concerns about his role in compromising America's national security with Iran's government in what could be one of the worst security compromises the nation has suffered in years.
