Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas's children will spend the holiday's in the UK amid nasty divorce

The two girls of Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas will be spending the holidays in the United Kingdom with their mother, celebrating both Christmas and the New Year.

Despite the fact that the couple is still in the process of divorcing, the couple has made preparations for the holidays for their two young girls, Willa and Delphine, according to court documents that were obtained by PEOPLE.

As stated in the legal documents, Jonas, who is 34 years old, took the children to Turner, who is 27 years old, earlier this month on December 17th.

According to the paperwork filed with the court, they will continue to stay with the former Game of Thrones cast member until January 7, after which they will be required to return to New York City.

The request for comment that was made by PEOPLE was not met with a response from representatives for either Turner or Jonas.

Jonas filed for divorce from Turner in September of 2023, after the couple had been married for a total of four years. In the document, it was stated that "the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken."

After dating for close to three years, the singer and the actress were finally able to tie the knot in 2019. According to their filing, they already had a prenuptial agreement in place.

Additionally, in September, Turner filed a lawsuit against Jonas and demanded that her children be brought back to England.

In the complaint, she demanded  "the immediate return of children wrongfully removed or wrongfully retained."

After a month had passed, Jonas and Turner came to an arrangement over temporary custody of their girls. This agreement will allow their daughters to experience equal amounts of time in both England and the United States.

Willa, the first of Jonas and Turner's daughters, was born in the year 2020, and her younger sister, Delphine, was born for the second time in the year 2022.

There is no evidence that the parents have ever posted photographs of their daughters on social media, and they take great care to ensure that their kids are completely hidden from the public eye.

The Jonas Brothers were honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame earlier this year. During his acceptance speech, Jonas gave a shout-out to his daughters, Willa and Delphine, despite the fact that they were not there at the time.

"To my little ones at home, Daddy loves you to the moon and back," he stated in January.
