Political strategist Roger Stone sat down with Breitbart News for an exclusive interview and confirmed that former president Donald Trump will beat the weaponized Department of Justice.
Stone said that despite everything that Trump is up against going into the 2024 election, “people don’t really understand how tough Donald Trump is."
Stone stated that Trump "really believes that he is going to run the gauntlet, despite the efforts to weaponize the judicial system — that he’s going to win."
Trump has had nearly everything thrown at him as President Joe Biden and the Democrat Party are desperate to knock him out of the race before it has even begun.
Any other Republican facing the full weight of the Democrat Party and the Department of Justice would have folded months ago. Stone is likely right on the money with his assessment of how tough Trump is.
Democrats hoped that multiple criminal indictments would be enough to torpedo Trump's presidential ambitions but if anything the indictments have helped Trump.
Trump has argued for years that he is the victim of political persecution and the unprecedented weaponization of the DOJ against him only served to prove his point.
Stone told Breitbart News, "People don’t really understand how tough Donald Trump is. I worked for Richard Nixon, I worked for Senator Bob Dole, both very, very tough guys, but not nearly as tough as Trump."
Nixon has had to deal with half of what Trump has put up with in the past decade.
From the beginning, Democrats threw everything they had at Trump to try and stop him. From the moment he was sworn into office, Democrats smeared him as a traitor who worked with Russia to steal the election.
Ironically, years later they would smear him as a traitor for claiming that Democrats had stolen the election from him in 2020. Trump is now facing criminal prosecution for daring to say that Democrats cheated to beat him.
Despite all that, Trump is still chugging along and he has crushed the Republican primary before it even started. Trump has held double digit leads for months and has been leading Biden in key states.
What began as a highly contested primary quickly turned into a one sided affair with Trump surging to the top of the pack.
Trump has run most of the gauntlet and has only earned more support from American voters. Democrats will need to do something truly unprecedented if they want to stop him, and even that may not be enough.
