RINO Republican's Urging Mike Pence To Support Kamala Harris

A former advisor to former Vice President Mike Pence has called on him to endorse Kamala Harris's presidential run.

The Hill reported that Olivia Troye, who previously served as a national security adviser to Mike Pence, described this endorsement as the "right thing" to do during an interview with MSNBC anchor Alex Witt on Sunday.

Troye emphasized the significance of Pence’s endorsement in rallying support for Harris’s candidacy. Troye left the White House in 2020 and has since been a vocal critic of Donald Trump and his administration.

Her open criticism of Trump aligns with her recent efforts to consolidate support for Kamala Harris within the Republican Party. She hasn't gotten the memo that the days of the Republican In Name Only are long over.

Olivia Troye's Plea to Pence

Pence, who suspended his GOP presidential bid last year, has been encouraged by Troye to show a display of courage by endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris for the upcoming presidential election.

Speaking directly to him, Troye said, “And if [Pence] out there listening right now, I encourage you to do the right thing.” She also noted that Pence's voice could significantly influence conservative voters across the nation.

During her conversation with Alex Witt, Troye praised Pence for his courageous acts in the past, particularly his refusal to reject the 2020 election results despite pressure from Trump.

“Again, you’ve shown tremendous courage in the past. You know what’s at stake more than anyone here, and your voice can make an enormous difference for conservatives across the country,” Troye stated.

Troye is a member of the recently inaugurated "Republicans for Harris" group, which aims to gather GOP support for Kamala Harris’s presidential run.

The group's launch included over 25 Republicans and is set to host kickoff events in pivotal swing states, such as Arizona, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania. Their objective is to build a coalition of GOP voices in favor of Harris, reinforcing the ideals of individual liberties and freedoms associated with the Republican Party.

Kamala Harris, who became the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee last week, has since secured the endorsement of President Joe Biden. Biden’s endorsement carries considerable weight, as Harris has already gained substantial backing from Democrats and major fundraising organizations.

Political Landscape and Past Actions

Pence, on his part, has maintained a steadied stance against Trump’s actions surrounding January 6, 2021. He has openly criticized Trump, acknowledging that he lacked the authority to reject the election results during the certification of the 2020 presidential election. Last month, Pence notably stated that Biden “made the right decision” for the country, although he did not disclose his thoughts on Harris specifically.

Troye's call to Pence arrives at a time where there is a demonstrative effort to strengthen bipartisan support for democratic values. “At the end of the day, this is about democracy, the ideals that the Republican Party has held in the past about individual liberties and freedoms. That’s what Kamala Harris is trying to do here. She’s trying to build that coalition so that we preserve those rights,” Troye remarked.

With his history of principled stands, Pence’s potential endorsement of Harris could mark a significant shift in the political dialogue, reflecting a move toward unity in preserving democratic ideals. Troye's pleas hinge on the belief that Pence’s support could galvanize those within the GOP who prioritize the foundational values of democracy over party lines.

As the political climate intensifies ahead of the election, endorsements and coalition-building play crucial roles in shaping the path forward. Troye's involvement in "Republicans for Harris" underscores a broader movement to forge alliances that transcend traditional partisan boundaries.

The “Republicans for Harris” initiative is preparing to execute a series of campaigns in key states, aiming to engage Republican voters and articulate Harris’s commitment to ideals that align with traditional Republican values. These efforts underscore the group's strategy to mobilize cross-party support by spotlighting shared democratic principles.

Endorsements from prominent figures like Pence could lend considerable momentum to Harris’s campaign. The collective goal remains to present a united front in safeguarding individual liberties and freedoms, moving beyond partisan divisions to address the country’s pressing challenges.

Conclusion

In conclusion, Olivia Troye's advocacy for Mike Pence to endorse Kamala Harris highlights a strategic push to bridge gaps within the political spectrum.

RINO's in the Republican Party that hate Trump and would rather see Democrats in power are attempting to leverage Pence's influence.

By rallying Republican voices in support of Harris, Troye and the “Republicans for Harris” group aim to reinforce the core democratic values that transcend party affiliations. This move could potentially shape the trajectory of the upcoming election, reflecting a unified commitment to uphold democracy and individual liberties.
