House Republicans believe that the Biden family received over $50 million for their so-called business. 

Multiple House Republicans have said as much during television appearances.

To put things into context, House Republicans continue to investigate the Biden family following claims of influence peddling and corruption. The allegation is that the family's business was actually selling access to President Joe Biden, given his position in the American government.

Thus far, House Republicans have been able to prove - through bank records and other documentation - that the Biden family has received at least $20 million from the likes of Romania, China, Russia, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan. The money has been traced to nine different members of the Biden family - including two of Joe Biden's grandchildren.

It turns out, though, the $20 million may not be the final total. House Republicans now believe that this $20 million figure will grow by at least $30 million.

U.S. Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) said as much during an appearance on Fox Business's Mornings with Maria. 

"Based on the evidence I've seen so far, I think the number is going to be north of $50 million that we're talking about here," Mace said.

She continued, "This will go down as one of the most politically corrupt presidents and families in U.S. history. And, we've got to show and prove it to the American people. We've got to show them everything that we have."

Mace said this based on the evidence that she has seen as a member of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee.

The committee is chaired by U.S. Rep. James Comer (R-KY). And, when asked if $50 million is a realistic figure, Comer, replied, "I do think it’s realistic."

In fact, some are saying that $50 million is actually a conservative figure. Other members of the committee have suggested that the figure could grow to over $100 million. We'll see.

In the meantime, the big question in all of this is Joe Biden's involvement: What did Joe Biden know about this Biden family business? And, what was his level of involvement?

At this point, there appears to be ample evidence that Joe Biden, at the very least, knew what his son, Hunter Biden, was up to with regard to this family business. And, there is also some evidence of Biden's involvement. But, House Republicans have yet to be able to completely nail Biden down.

This is why House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) has opened up an impeachment inquiry into Biden. Going forward, House investigators plan to subpoena several members of the Biden family. This should shed more light on what exactly this Biden family business was up to.
