Representative Eric Burlison Reveals Federal Agencies Blocked Probe Into Biden Family

Missouri Representative, Eric Burlison, has recently opened up publicly on alleged obstructions faced by congressional investigations. These investigations involve potential corruption linked with President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden.

Newsmax reported that Burlison dropped the bombshell revelation that multiple federal agencies are obstructing congressional inquiries into corruption allegations against the President and his son.

While appearing on Newsmax this Monday, Burlison highlighted hurdles investigators have had to overcome, including delays in accessing vital evidence like internal reports, financial records, and photographs.

Burlison commented on photos recently released by the National Archives and Records Administration capturing Joe Biden in a meeting with his son's Chinese business partners: "We were not aware of these photos. But they would have added credibility to our investigation, as we already had a lot of evidence of this corruption."

Another set of images allegedly shows Hunter Biden with Chinese President Xi Jinping, among other Chinese officials.

"A photo speaks a thousand words, and it's good that these photos are finally seeing the light of day," Burlison added.

Investigators Finding it Difficult to Access Essential Documents

Providing the extent of the obstruction, Burlison reported the initial denial to Congress of certain crucial documents.

Thereafter, to obtain them, evidence of their existence had to be provided to issue subpoenas.

Burlison spoke on the difficulty in accessing these documents: "The only way we were able to see them was to go to the basement of the Treasury, and that took months."

He has called out federal agencies like the FBI and the Department of Justice (DOJ), claiming that they have impeded the investigation. Burlison alleged a DOJ attorney inappropriately tipped off the Biden family on a planned raid on Hunter Biden's storage unit.

Condemning this action, Burlison called it "unacceptable behavior from an agency that's supposed to be nonpartisan."

Burlison criticized the infiltration of politics into federal agencies: "The federal government, which ought to be working for you and me independent of politics, was obstructing Congress." In his view, "Every agency has become a partisan tool."

He also reflected on the election outcome, noting, "The American people voted as they did because they perceived every agency as a partisan tool. They are used to a federal government where Lady Justice is blind," said Burlison.

Federal Obstruction in IRS Investigations of Hunter Biden

Burlison's allegations are corroborated by IRS whistleblowers uncovering similar DOJ and FBI obstructions in their investigation into Hunter Biden.

Burlison recounted their experiences saying, "They told us how they were blocked every step of the way by the Department of Justice and the FBI."

Despite the obstructions, Burlison highlighted the need for congressional investigations into alleged misconduct and corruption. His comments emphasize the need for a more balanced system of checks and controls.
