Over the last few days, we have seen some rather devastating reports come out regarding the Obama and Biden administrations.
Of course, the media is downplaying them as much as possible, and while they can temper the “Arctic Frost” report, it will be far more difficult to bury this report.
That being the burying of intelligence reports during the Obama administration to protect Joe Biden’s reputation.
The problem for Joe Biden is that he is on record bragging about getting Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin fired when he was VP.
I have little doubt that Shokin was corrupt, and the administration maintained that it was leveraging aid against Shokin because he was refusing to investigate corrupt political figures.
Well, at the time that he was fired, he was conducting a corruption investigation into Burisma, which just happened to have Hunter Biden as a board member.
The optics on this for Biden are horrible, and let’s face it, in this day and age, optics are all that matter.
This leads us into the dealings of the Biden family business, which all seem centered around areas where Biden has significant influence while serving as the VP.
Biden took the lead on foreign policy for Obama, and he had significant influence in countries like China (Biden has always touted his relationship with President Xi), Romania, and, of course, Ukraine.
It’s very easy to make the case that Joe Biden was using his office to set up Hunter Biden’s business activities, which wound up funneling millions to Biden associate accounts, then to the Biden family bank accounts.
In one example, Joe Biden had welcomed Romanian President Klaus Iohannis to the White House in September 2015. A few weeks later, a businessman from Romania, Gabriel Popoviciu, started to deposit money into a Biden associate's bank account, and not long after, the Biden family bank accounts had some rather sizeable transfers made.
This week, CIA Director John Ratcliffe declassified communications between Obama officials and agency officials, requesting that certain reports stay dark due to the damage that could be done to Biden.
For instance, one email stated, "Good morning, I just spoke with VP/ NSA and he would strongly prefer the report not/not be disseminated. Thanks for understanding.” The individual who signed the email was redacted, but this was clearly regarding a discussion that had been had with Biden.
A senior CIA official explained, "Director Ratcliffe believes this is an example of politicization of intelligence that we need to work to eliminate and for what we have zero tolerance. We believe transparency is important. We will release information and avoid any future weaponization of the intelligence community."
This information should have been sent out, but it was buried at Biden’s request because he was worried about how it would make his family appear. This is corruption at its finest. If Biden had nothing to hide, why worry about the report going out in the first place? So, is Ratcliffe going to sit on this and grandstand for a headline, or is he actually going to do something about it? I think we all, sadly, know the answer to that question.
