Democrats being linked to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and other foreign governments is nothing new, and a bombshell report just hit, exposing yet another alleged tie.
This time, Boston Mayor Michelle Wu allegedly took hundreds of thousands of dollars from a CCP intelligence officer.
The Biden administration was rife with problems with alleged foreign agents, but the one who stood out the most to me was Robert Malley, Biden’s Iran envoy.
I have been very critical of the Biden administration for wanting to be Iran’s friend, and Malley was a major player in that.
In April 2023, Malley had been suspended for having “allegedly transferred classified documents to his personal email account and downloaded these documents to his personal cell phone.”
As this information came out, there were other reports of more Iranian sympathizers within that office, but the administration worked very hard to sweep it all under the rug.
When Tim Walz was named vice president for Kamala Harris’ ticket, very few people knew anything about the Minnesota governor, but that was about to change.
Within a matter of weeks, it was pretty clear that Walz loved China the way Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) loved Cuba.
One of the more interesting reports I saw that did not get a lot of grip in the media was how the Minnesota State Board of Investment (SBI) was pouring money into Chinese funds.
As governor, Walz has authority over the selection of the members of this board, so it is reasonable to assume he put his people in place that would invest the money as he saw fit, and that would appear to be loading up on Chinese funds, a country where Walz spent his honeymoon.
That leads us to Mayor Michelle Wu, a Democrat, who is now coming under fire for allegedly receiving significant donations from a fundraiser who is also a CCP intelligence officer.
Wu’s family is of Chinese descent. Her grandparents moved from mainland China to Taiwan. Then her parents immigrated to the United States.
On Wu taking money from Chinese officials, China expert Gordon Chang stated, “The Communist Party’s UFWD never rests. There is no ethnic Chinese official in America who is not targeted. It’s time for law enforcement to investigate the CCP’s ties to Gary Yu and Yu’s ties to Mayor Michelle Wu.”
Chang later added, “Wu’s ultra-leftism makes her the perfect candidate for CCP recruitment and capture. Or do we have it backward? Is her ultra-leftism the result of CCP recruitment and capture? More than just the people of Boston would like to know.” So would the people of the United States. If we have a Chinese sympathizer running one of our major cities, we have a significant problem on our hands.
