Radical leftist Jasmine Crockett's campaign spent massive sums on upscale hotels and limos

Federal Election Commission filings have uncovered a Texas congresswoman’s campaign spending that could make even the most extravagant CEO blush.

Fox News reported that Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, who represents Dallas’ 30th Congressional District, has reportedly shelled out nearly $75,000 in 2025 on luxury accommodations, high-end transportation, and security across multiple U.S. cities, raising eyebrows among fiscal conservatives.

Let’s break this down: since January 2025, Crockett’s campaign has dropped a cool $25,748.87 on posh hotels and premium limo services alone. That’s not pocket change, especially for a lawmaker who’s built a reputation on progressive causes like rethinking police funding.

Luxury Stays in Unexpected Places

Now, where did all this money go? Filings show expenses at top-tier spots like the Ritz-Carlton for $4,175.01, the West Hollywood Edition in Los Angeles for $5,326.52, and even over $5,000 combined at swanky resorts like the Cosmopolitan and Aria in Las Vegas.

Martha’s Vineyard wasn’t left out either, with Crockett’s campaign spending $2,703.14 at the Edgartown Inn and $3,160.93 at The Coco. One has to wonder what pressing constituent business required such lavish stays far from Dallas.

And it’s not just hotels—transportation costs paint a similarly upscale picture. Payments include $2,728.00 to a Chicago limo company, Transportation 4 U, and $2,310.30 to DCA Car LLC for premium rides, not to mention $1,254.00 to Bay Area Limousine.

On top of that, nearly $50,000 went toward security expenses in the same timeframe. While safety is paramount for public figures, the sheer scale of spending across these categories has some questioning priorities.

Adding to the intrigue, Crockett is mulling a Senate run against Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, who’s currently navigating a primary challenge from Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and Rep. Wesley Hunt. She’s hinted at spending big on data to inform her decision, which begs the question: is this campaign cash paving the way for a larger ambition?

“I am seriously weighing it to the extent that I’m about to spend a lot of money to get data,” Crockett told Politico in October 2025. Well, if data costs as much as these hotel bills, Texans might need to brace for more eye-popping numbers.

Controversial Statements Stir the Pot

Crockett’s not just making waves with her spending—she’s also stirred controversy with sharp rhetoric. At a pro-LGBTQ benefit dinner, she dubbed Texas Gov. Greg Abbott “Governor Hot Wheels,” a jab that drew quick backlash.

“I wasn’t thinking about the governor’s condition—I was thinking about the planes, trains, and automobiles he used to transfer migrants into communities led by Black mayors, deliberately stoking tension and fear among the most vulnerable,” she later clarified on X. Fair enough, but such quips risk overshadowing policy debates with personal barbs, a distraction conservatives often lament in today’s discourse.

She’s also waded into other hot-button issues, defending Virginia Attorney General-elect Jay Jones after his troubling texts about a Republican lawmaker surfaced.

Her support, while perhaps rooted in partisan strategy, raises questions about the tone of political dialogue she’s championing.

Further fueling concern, Crockett has called for aggressive action against figures like Elon Musk and Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, with language some see as unnecessarily combative. While passion in politics isn’t new, conservatives might argue that leadership demands a steadier hand, especially when representing struggling communities in Dallas.

Fox News Digital sought comment from Crockett on these expenditures but received no response by publication time. Silence on such a significant outlay only deepens the curiosity about how these choices align with her constituents’ needs.
