"The Duke and Duchess of Sussex previously snagged a $100 million Netflix deal but there’s no sign of Markle being attached to this new documentary, the outlet noted," the Daily Caller noted.
"Prince Harry is believed to be taking the plunge alone after facing pressure to come up with winning content for the streaming giant," it added.
"Harry is making plans to return to Africa solo for a new Netflix documentary, Page Six can reveal.

"Harry’s potential African journey will inevitably be seen as following in the footsteps of his mother, Princess Diana, who traveled to Africa to campaign against landmines shortly before her death," Page Six reported.
"It’s not yet known what the documentary will be about. However, the ongoing Hollywood writers’ strike means the prince cannot move forward with his plans yet, we are told," it added.

Despite Markle's absence from the new project, Netflix says it will continue its work with her as part of the couple's production company.
"We value our partnership with Archewell Productions," a Netflix spokesperson told People.
"Harry & Meghan was Netflix's biggest documentary debut ever, and we'll continue to work together on a number of projects, including the upcoming documentary series Heart of Invictus," it continued.
Harry and Meghan have worked with Netflix since shortly after moving to California in 2020 in the multiyear deal. Their initial series was the biggest debut documentary in the history of Netflix. The rumors come as Spotify decided to end Markle's podcast with some speculating it was due to low ratings in her current episodes.
The new efforts with Netflix may show some changes with Markle but there seem to be no plans to drop her completely. The royal couple continues to remain popular despite criticisms with Netflix likely to continue building on their marital relationship in money-making shows for some time.
