Pollster Frank Luntz says Trump will definitely win in November if properties are seized

While many have considered the possibility of former President Donald Trump going bankrupt and taking a political hit in an attempt to save his New York properties from being seized as a result of a judgment in the suit brought against him by Letitia James (D), some believe the exact opposite is more likely.

According to the New York Post, a top GOP pollster revealed that he believes that if Trump's properties were to be seized as a result of being unable to pay the $454 million bond in cash, he would be part of the "greatest victimhood" of 2024 and easily win in November.

The prediction came via Frank Luntz, who is certainly not a pro-Trump pollster.

Luntz said Trump would use the situation to lump it in with the numerous cases against him as proof that the Washington D.C. swamp was unfairly targeting him the entire time, thus energizing his base and voters who may not have otherwise given him a shot.

What did he say?

Luntz, in a recent panel discussion with CNN, explained why he believes Trump would easily win if the situation results in property seizures.

He also said that his numbers would receive a massive boost just like each time he was indicted.

"If they take his stuff, he’s going to say that this is proof that the federal government and the establishment and the swamp in Washington and all the politicians across the country and the attorneys generals and all of this, that this is a conspiracy to deny him the presidency," Luntz said.

Luntz continued, "He’s going to go up in the polls, just like he went up every single time they indicted him."

"You’re going to create the greatest victimhood of 2024, and you’re going to elect Donald Trump."

It was noted that most of the other panel guests were silent during Luntz's explanation.

Direct appeal to AG James

The Post noted that it appeared that Luntz was making a direct appeal to the New York AG as if he was begging her not to let Trump look like a victim in the lead-up to the November election.

"I say this to the Attorney General right now, if you play politics on this — this is what the secretaries of state did in Colorado and what they did in, I believe, is Maine. His numbers went up in both states," Luntz said.

He added, "I’m almost speechless in how pathetic the opposition to Trump has been and how completely misguided and this is a perfect example of it."

Only time will tell if James listens.
