Patel sends several Democrats over the edge during hearing

The Senate Judiciary Committee hearing for FBI Director Kash Patel did not exactly go as Democrats had planned.

Just about every Democrat who took the microphone went after Patel, once again proving that it's more about theater than actual politics.

The most notable confrontation was between Patel and Senator Schiff (D-CA), but there were a few more that I wanted to highlight.

Hirono Belittled Democrat Narrative

What is the one thing that Democrats refuse to admit since Trump took office and made transgender issues a focal point?

It’s very simple… the definition of a woman.

Well, Senator Mazie Hirono (D-HI) hurt that narrative by whining to Patel about new pull-up standards that she says are hurting women.

She asked Patel, “You are now requiring applicants to be able to do a certain kind of pull-ups which a lot of women cannot because of physiological differences. Are you requiring these kinds of pull-ups?” Patel missed a golden opportunity to put her on the spot to define a woman, but Hirono will still take a bit hit over this question.

You Buffoon

Schiff clearly thought he would be able to get away with bullying Kash Patel again, but he was wrong beyond belief. As Schiff started his usual fake anger, asking Patel if he thought the American people were stupid, Patel fired back, "No, I think the American people believe the truth. That I'm not in the weeds on the everyday movements of inmates.

"What I am doing is protecting this country, providing historic reform, and combating the weaponization of intelligence by the likes of you and we have callously proven you to be a liar in Russiagate, in January 6. You are the biggest fraud to ever the United States Senate. You are a disgrace to this institution and an utter coward."

At this point, Schiff and Patel were more or less screaming over each other, but it was Patel who landed the better shot.

He continued hitting Schiff with everything, stating, "I'm not surprised. You continue to lie from your perch and put on a show so you can go raise money for your charade. You are a political buffoon at best."

What Is Going On?

Sen. Eric Schmitt (R-MO) also went off during the hearings, crushing those who are trying to encourage or defend political violence. He lashed out, “Political violence is always wrong. Period, full stop. It doesn’t matter which side, in the name of any ideology or cause, it’s wrong. But in America today, political violence is not a problem that falls equally upon both sides.

“We have to be honest about this. We must reject an attempt to paint it as some kind of random phenomenon with no particular creed or ideology, a kind of spontaneous insanity, which takes place outside of any broader social context and has no pattern at all. That’s wrong.”

He continued, “Already, we’re hearing people talk about Charlie’s assassination in those terms. We’re told that we can’t possibly know what drove a killer to plan and carry out a murder of the most prominent conservative activist in America. But that’s a lie. We do know. The facts are plain and clear, and we have to speak truth in this moment or there’s no other side of the mountain.”

He’s absolutely right. When something happens on the right, the left calls it out, Democrats lose their minds, and the media goes into attack mode. When something happens on the left, Democrats say we need unity, and the media covers up the real narrative. And by the way, Democrats in office are still calling Trump a Nazi and a fascist. So, again, tell me they don’t want violence against Republicans.
