Over 200 Retired Generals And Admirals Back Trump, Cite National Security Risks Of Harris-Walz

In a forceful show of support, over 200 retired military generals and admirals have endorsed former President Donald Trump for the upcoming presidential election, asserting that current national and personal security is at risk under the Biden-Harris administration.

Breitbart reported that the open letter, organized by Flag Officers 4 America, highlights Trump's leadership in ensuring national security and criticizes the current administration for various perceived failures in domestic and international affairs.

On Monday, an open letter endorsing Donald Trump was released to the public. The letter, organized by the group Flag Officers 4 America, was signed by over 200 retired military generals and admirals.

The letter underscores Trump’s leadership abilities, specifically in protecting national security, and domestic safety, and upholding the U.S. Constitution. It positions the Biden-Harris administration as having failed in these critical areas.

One key statement from Flag Officers 4 America asserts that Trump has a proven track record of success in providing the fundamental responsibilities required of a U.S. President, including the protection of national security and the Constitution.

Criticism of the Biden-Harris Administration

The retired military officials criticize the Biden-Harris administration on multiple fronts. They argue that current policies, particularly those related to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), have made the nation "unsecured" and "unsafe."

The letter also states that these policies have divided the country and allowed foreign adversaries to exploit America's political and social disorder. Additionally, the authors highlight that divisive domestic policies are enabling foreign adversaries to take advantage of the situation.

Backing up these claims, the letter references a recent bipartisan congressional report from the Commission on the National Defense Strategy, which notes that the U.S. faces the most serious threats since the end of World War II.

Two major crises are cited in the letter, both domestic and international, to exemplify the current administration's failures. Domestically, a devastating hurricane in the southeast has claimed over 150 lives, with hundreds still missing.

Critics claim President Biden and Vice President Harris have been absent during this crisis, while Trump visited the affected areas, bringing supplies and launching a GoFundMe page that raised over $3.2 million by Tuesday.

Internationally, the letter mentions an escalation in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas, triggered by Iran launching hundreds of missiles at Israel. The letter criticizes the Biden-Harris administration for failing to secure a ceasefire and highlights costly U.S. military expenditures in the region that have not yielded results.

Economic and Security Concerns

The letter brings attention to several other issues, including concerns about open borders, economic instability, and the physical and mental condition of the current Commander-In-Chief. The retired officials argue that an influx of unvetted immigrants presents a severe security risk.

On the economic front, they claim that inflation has impaired the defense budget, affecting national security readiness. Moreover, they point out that the President's physical and mental condition can jeopardize swift and accurate decision-making in critical national security situations.

Highlighting the gravity of the situation, the retired officers question whether the nation's security is stronger or weaker today than four years ago, leaving the reader to ponder the answer.

According to the retired flag officers, the nation stands at a historic crossroads. They maintain that Americans must either uphold the Constitution and its traditional values or continue down a path they believe leads to socialism and authoritarian cultural Marxism.

The letter closes with an urgent call for citizens to support Trump in the upcoming election, framing the choice as a pivotal one for the future of the country. They emphasize the importance of securing the border, repelling adversaries, revitalizing the economy, and maintaining national safety.

Despite these endorsements, it’s noteworthy that a contrasting letter exists, signed by over 700 former officials who endorse Kamala Harris. However, this letter reportedly focuses more on arguing against Trump than supporting Harris, indicating a significant divide in viewpoints.

A Final Plea for Support

In their concluding remarks, the retired flag officers appeal to their fellow citizens to join them in supporting Trump's candidacy, arguing that the nation's future is at stake.

They call for a return to leadership that they believe can secure the U.S. Constitution, uphold traditional values, and restore national security and personal safety.

The call to action is clear: they believe the choice in the upcoming election will determine whether America remains secure and economically viable or falls into what they describe as a "deadly abyss" of socialism and authoritarianism.

With the upcoming election drawing nearer, these endorsements are likely to spark further debate and discussion among voters, highlighting deep divisions within the country’s political landscape.
