A biographer for former President Barrack Obama claims that Obama once cheated on his wife, former First Lady Michelle Obama. 

This is one of at least two explosive claims that come from Pulitzer-prize-winning biographer David Garrow. Read on to see the other.

Garrow authored the 2017 Obama biography, titled, Rising Star: The Making of Barack Obama. It was in this book that Garrow made both revelations. But, the revelations have largely been ignored or dismissed.

Recently, Garrow participated in an interview with Tablet Magazine where he reiterated these revelations, providing more details about them.

Regarding the cheating on Michelle Obama, Garrow says that Barack Obama did so with a woman named Sheila Miyoshi Jager.

According to Garrow, Obama had proposed to Jager at least two times during their relationship, but he was rejected by her each time. Obama, at some point, ended the relationship with Jager. But, according to Garrow, he continued to see her informally - even after Obama entered into a relationship with Michelle Obama.

This is already a significant revelation - the former president cheating on the former first lady. But, Garrow's second revelation is, perhaps, even more explosive. It is that Obama "repeatedly fantasized" about homosexuality.

According to Garrow, Obama expressed his fantasies in a letter that he sent to Alex McNear, who was his girlfriend at the time.

Garrow explained the circumstances of the letter, saying:

[R]ight about when Rising Star came out, Alex indirectly sold the original, sold those letters, and they ended up at Emory [University]. So, Emory put out a press release saying, "We’ve gotten these rare letters by Barack Obama." And no mention of this paragraph that was too sensitive. None of the papers mentioned it. Emory didn’t mention it.

What Garrow is referring to here is the fact that a paragraph from the letter had apparently been redacted.

Garrow continues to describe his attempts to track the letter - and the contents of this redacted paragraph - down.

"So I emailed Harvey [Klehr, a longtime associate, and], said, ‘Go to the Emory archives.’ He’s spent his whole life at Emory, but they won’t let him take pictures," Garrow said.

He continued, "So, Harvey has to sit there with a pencil and copy out the paragraph where Barack writes to Alex about how he repeatedly fantasizes about making love to men."
