Cameron Weiss, an agent for NFL and MLB players and founder of Dynamic Sports Group, died at the age of 38.
Weiss passed away following a battle with cancer, according to a statement from the NFL Network.

"It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of Cameron Weiss, our dear friend and business partner," Dynamic Sports Group said. "Cameron was a remarkable individual who touched and impacted the lives of so many. His decision, passion and unwavering commitment to his family, friends and clients will always be remembered. He will be greatly missed," the NFL Network wrote.
"Moving forward at Dynamic Sports Group, Cam’s legacy will live on as we continue to serve our family of clients as he would have. Finally, our thoughts, prayers and sincere condolences go out to his family and close friends during this time," the statement continued.

Weiss was the agent for NFL star Austin Ekeler, who posted a message following his friend's passing.
"He will always be a part of my story," Ekeler wrote. "Rest in piece brotha."
"In addition to Ekeler, Weiss represented a bevy of other NFL players in their pursuits of contracts over the past few years ... including Eagles tailback Boston Scott and former Dallas Cowboys pass rusher Michael Sam," TMZ added.
Ekeler's news comes after a strong opening game for the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. He scored the team's first touchdown in a narrow loss to the Miami Dolphins in the season opener.

The loss of Weiss is being mourned by many in the sports world as Weiss is remembered for his strong impact despite his life being cut short by cancer.
