California Gov. Gavin Newsome was undoubtedly responsible for making California one of the most restrictive states in the nation during the entirety of the COVID-19 pandemic -- so much so, that it even had his own family members wanting to get the hell out of Dodge.
According to Breitbart, it was revealed this week that Newsom's in-laws did, in fact, hightail it out of the restrictive state and -- you can't make this up -- moved to the freest state in the nation, Florida, led by Gov. Ron DeSantis (R).
The news was especially humiliating not only for Newsom, but for Democrats in general, as they've spent considerable resources, including mountains of cash, targeting the deep red state where freedom still exists.
If @gavinnewsom were your son-in-law, you’d flee the scene of the accident too 😂☠️

Fox News reported, "Kenneth F. Siebel Jr. and Judith A. Siebel, parents of Newsom’s wife Jennifer Siebel and longtime California residents, became Florida residents in 2020 after purchasing a $3.3 million Naples home in March of that year, records show."
Additionally, it was revealed that Newsom's father-in-law is a registered Republican! More details showed that a trust linked to the Siebels had made a rather sizeable contribution to DeSantis. Yikes.
The report added: "Newsom’s in-laws, however, officially became registered voters in the Sunshine State as of June 2020. Kenneth Siebel is a registered Republican while Judith Siebel has no party affiliation."
One can assume that these days, that combination probably makes for extremely awkward Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings at the Newsom mansion. I'd love to be a fly on that wall.
Gov. Newsom's policies are so unbelievably bad that they forced his in-laws to literally flee the state. That's gotta be a tough pill to swallow for slick-haired Gavin.
