A new photograph of U.S. President Joe Biden has left many confounded. 

The photograph appears to have been taken on a rainy day. It shows Biden at the bottom of a staircase, and it appears that Biden might be on the verge of falling - although it's not really clear what is going on. Take a look:

It is not clear where or when this photograph is from, which has only added to the mystery. The speculation is that it might be from Biden's recent trip to Los Angeles, California. The weather conditions captured in the photograph would be consistent with the weather that Los Angeles was experiencing at the time.

Social media reactions to this photograph, which does appear to be real and not altered, have varied greatly.

Many users simply reacted with confusion. Benny Johnson of Turning Point USA, for example, asked "WTF is happening here?"

Others inquired as to whether Biden is okay, and still, others took an opportunity to have a little fun with the photograph, particularly after Jeanna Ellis, the former attorney of former President Donald Trump, called for a caption contest.

Although there are many unknowns about the above photograph, one thing that has been well established by now is that Biden frequently has trouble with plane stairs. Biden, in fact, has had several incidents just in recent weeks.

Earlier this month, Fox News reported:

President Biden appeared to stumble once again while attempting to board Air Force One this week, marking the second time the 80-year-old president has been caught on camera having trouble climbing the stairs to his plane in less than two weeks.

The unfortunate fact is that examples like this are multiplying. And, it's not a good look for anyone: not for Biden, not for the Biden administration, and certainly not for America - the country Biden represents.
