As we all know, Biden’s mental decline was the most underreported story of his presidency, but that all changed once he left office.
Now the very people that helped with the coverup are writing books about the coverup, and we are quickly learning how Biden’s staffers kept it all hidden (at least to the people that wanted to believe Biden was all there).
Immediately after Biden left office, a report surfaced about Biden’s main protectors in terms of keeping the media away from this story.
As we suspected, two of the main culprits were Jill and Hunter Biden, who tried to put a protective umbrella around Joe to keep the media away from him.
Longtime strategist Mike Donilon and counselor Steve Ricchetti served as the main filter for reports to go to Biden, which kept most advisers away from him and unable to see how he was slipping.
Annie Tomasini, Biden’s deputy chief of staff, and Anthony Bernal, the first lady’s top aide, controlled Biden’s schedule, likely keeping most of Biden’s meetings in the early part of his day when he was the sharpest, and pushing meetings when they realized Joe needed a nap.
As these reports surfaced, it became apparent that Democrats felt betrayed by Biden’s closest allies keeping the facts hidden. Mind you, we all saw this, yet we were called conspiracy theorists for pointing out the obvious.
When people like George Clooney came out after the fact, calling for Joe Biden to resign, their only justification for not seeing Biden’s decline before the debate was simply because they did not want to see it.
One senior Democrat told CNN, “There is a marked difference in the president from the spring to the summer. He’s just not the same.”
There were also reports that the interviews were being staged, with one official stating, “The entire display is kind of an act. They would come and say, ‘Hey, the president is going to call on you about 25 minutes in, and ask this question. What are the bullet points you’ll respond with?’”
Yet another book about Biden’s decline is coming out: "2024: How Trump Retook the White House and the Democrats Lost America," written by Tyler Pager, a reporter for The New York Times, Josh Dawsey, a reporter for the Wall Street Journal, and Isaac Arnsdorf, a reporter for the Washington Post.
The details how Biden’s top aides recommended he not take a cognitive test because they believed him agreeing to take the test would cause more harm than good. However, they tempered their stance by saying they had no doubt Biden would pass the test.
Then, when former Obama adviser David Axelrod commented that Biden would be “closer to 90 than 80 at the end of a second term, and that would be a major issue,” Biden’s former Chief of Staff Ron Klain went ballistic, calling up Axelrod and reading him the riot act for pointing out the obvious.
Ironically, it is now Klain who is cashing in, telling everyone who will listen how Biden was out of it when he came back to the administration to help Joe prepare for his debate with Donald Trump. I don’t care what these people say, anyone who says they did not see a decline in Biden prior to that debate is a liar. We all saw it… they just don’t want to admit we were right all along.
