The House committee investigating the events of Jan. 6, 2021, has been postponed.
The Wednesday hearing was the ninth and potentially final public hearing before a final report.

"In light of Hurricane Ian bearing down on parts of Florida, we have decided to postpone tomorrow's proceedings," Chairman Bennie Thompson (D-MS) and Vice Chairwoman Liz Cheney (R-WY) said in a statement.
"We're praying for the safety of all those in the storm's path. The Select Committee's investigation goes forward and we will soon announce a date for the postponed proceedings," they added.

The committee planned to include new footage from Jan. 6 and witness testimony in its case against former President Donald Trump. The hearing also comes a month after an FBI raid on Trump's Mar-a-Lago home.
The committee's may delay its hearing, but the information will come soon as the left seeks to make a final attack ahead of the November midterms.
