Nancy Pelosi's J6 committee postpones Wednesday hearing

The House committee investigating the events of Jan. 6, 2021, has been postponed.

The Wednesday hearing was the ninth and potentially final public hearing before a final report.

"In light of Hurricane Ian bearing down on parts of Florida, we have decided to postpone tomorrow's proceedings," Chairman Bennie Thompson (D-MS) and Vice Chairwoman Liz Cheney (R-WY) said in a statement.

"We're praying for the safety of all those in the storm's path. The Select Committee's investigation goes forward and we will soon announce a date for the postponed proceedings," they added.

The committee planned to include new footage from Jan. 6 and witness testimony in its case against former President Donald Trump. The hearing also comes a month after an FBI raid on Trump's Mar-a-Lago home.

The committee's may delay its hearing, but the information will come soon as the left seeks to make a final attack ahead of the November midterms.
