"President Biden has been a great president for our country," Pelosi said.
"Over 10 million jobs under his leadership. Working with the private sector, of course. He has just done so many things that are so great," she added.

"If Biden can hold on to a Democratic Senate, then he'll be in the catbird seat to run for re-election," Rice University presidential historian Douglas Brinkley told the Washington Post the on the eve of Election Day.
"Now, if it's a red wave and the Republicans win the Congress and Senate, there's going to be a drumroll for Biden to not be the party's nominee," he added.

The endorsement comes as Democrats will likely lose the House majority, meaning that Pelosi will no longer serve as Speaker of the House.
Pelosi seems to be unphased by the change as the House losses were not as bad as some anticipated and Democrats have retained control of the Senate. The projections are now at 50 to 49 with Democrats in the lead and Georgia's Senate battle headed to a December runoff.
The tensions for the 2024 campaign continue to ramp up as attention turns from the midterms to who will run for the White House. Americans could find a rematch between Biden and former President Donald Trump in a battle for the next president.
