A Chinese publication claimed that President Joe Biden could lose votes among Muslim Americans over his support of Israel.
The Global Times noted the concern on Monday as Israel continues its response against Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

“Though Arab Americans and other Muslims make up a small part of the electorate in the US, their population is growing, and these voters can be a critical voting bloc in tight elections,” the Global Times observed on Monday, citing pro-regime Chinese “experts.”
“If more Muslims in crucial swing states make the decision to vote against Biden, the outcome of the 2024 election will not be what Biden wants to see,” it added.
Democratic support for Pres. Biden is wavering when it comes to his backing of Israel amid its conflict with Hamas, with several members of his own party, including former Pres. Obama, saying more must be done to avoid killing Palestinian civilians. https://t.co/5TLjfrO9aw

"Biden has tried to strike a balance by arguing Israel has a right to self-defense while warning Israel to be as careful as possible," ABC News reported.
"But Obama, who has for the most part kept a low profile since leaving the presidency, in comments that surfaced over the weekend, appeared to split with his former vice president who has publicly supported Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanhayu, saying, 'nobody's hands are clean,'" it continued.
Joe Biden gets an “F” for his handling of Iran, Hamas, and Hezbollah. Support for our ally Israel is necessary to defeat these enablers and sponsors of terror. https://t.co/4hUFRWqnYK

While China claims Biden could lose votes over his support of Israel, conservatives argue that the president has not been supportive enough.
"Joe Biden gets an 'F' for his handling of Iran, Hamas, and Hezbollah. Support for our ally Israel is necessary to defeat these enablers and sponsors of terror," Wyoming Republican Rep. Harriet Hageman posted to X.
Biden quickly visited Israel when the war against Hamas began, offering support to the nation. He has since backed down but has fallen short of calling for a full cease-fire.
Hamas terrorists killed over 1,400 civilians and took over 240 hostages, including killing over 30 Americans.
Biden's concern should not be Muslim voters but rather putting an end to terrorism among its key Middle East ally.
