It's truly shocking that President Joe Biden believes he can actually run for and hold another term in the White House, given his obvious cognitive and physical shortfalls, which are on full display to the entire world week after week.
Sometimes one wonders if the White House is paying attention to the polling out there that clearly reflects how Americans have virtually zero faith in his abilities as a president. One recent poll shined a new light on that.
According to The Daily Wire, a stunning new poll from Washington Post-ABC News -- of all places -- revealed that a solid majority of Americans do not believe Biden is physically or mentally fit for the job.
The numbers were decisive, too. Sixty-three percent of Americans do not believe Biden has the "mental sharpness it takes to serve effectively as president. Only 32% believed otherwise.
As far as Americans' view on Biden's physical sharpness, the results were about the same. Sixty-two percent of Americans don't believe the president is in "good enough physical health to serve effectively as president."
Only 33% disagreed with that statement.
The Daily Wire added:
Biden, 80, is the oldest president in United States history. If he were to win re-election and serve a full second term, he would be 86 by the time he left office in January 2029.
Biden doesn't seem to think age is an issue, and that he's healthy enough for a second term.
“With regard to age, I can’t even say I guess how old I am, I can’t even say the number. It doesn’t register with me,” Biden told reporters during a press conference with South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol.
He added: “I respect them taking a hard look at it — I’d take a hard look at it, as well. I took a hard look at it before I decided to run, and I feel good. I feel excited about the prospects."
The president is also hurting in several other key polling areas, including poor results with core age demographics.
He's also losing ground with his own part, with a growing number of Democrats -- and especially behind the curtains -- are wanting someone else to run for the party's nomination next year, knowing that Biden doesn't have the juice needed to face off against a strong Republican opponent like former President Donald Trump or Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R).
His time is up, and the numbers prove it.
Only time will tell if American voters smarten up in 20224.
