Melania will 'definitely have a role' in Trump's 2024 campaign

Former First Lady Melania Trump will "definitely have a role" in her husband's 2024 presidential campaign.

This is according to a new report from CNN.

The outlet, for the report, quotes several anonymous "source[s] close to the Trump campaign."

With this in mind, the report has to be taken with a rather large grain of salt.

"She'll definitely have a role, but..."

One anonymous source told CNN that the first first lady will definitely play a role in Trump's reelection campaign. The source, however, did not specify what this role would be.

"She’ll definitely have a role, but in terms of what that is, I don’t know. It is her decision on how much or how little she will be campaigning," the source told CNN.

Not only that but the outlet further reports:

Numerous sources, both within and close to the campaign, told CNN that, as of now, there is no indication of Melania Trump having a ramped-up role anytime soon, while also cautioning that at any point she could make the decision to hit the trail of her own accord.

CNN goes on to report that the former first lady's role at the upcoming Republican National Convention - at which Trump will become the Republican Party's presidential nominee - has not even been decided.

Another source describes Mrs. Trump as being " very selective and methodical in what she wants to do and how she presents herself."

Background

Leftist news organizations, in particular, have been trying to make a big deal out of the fact that Mrs. Trump has, thus far, decided not to join her husband on the 2024 campaign trial.

Some leftist outlets, such as People magazine, have even pushed the idea that the former first lady is choosing her and Donald's son, Barron Trump, over Donald.

There may be some truth to this, but no one knows for sure, because it has not been directly confirmed by the Trumps.

The former first lady was recently asked about the situation, and all she said was to "stay tuned." She received absurd criticism for the remark, which probably explains a large part of the reason why Mrs. Trump has been avoiding the public - she probably does not want to open herself up to the same sort of vicious attacks that have been made on her husband by the left.

Whatever the case may be, there is no sign of any trouble between Donald and Melania Trump. They, in fact, have attended several recent events together, including this one.
