Marjorie Taylor Greene introduces articles of impeachment against FBI director Christopher Wray and three others

Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has introduced articles of impeachment against FBI director Christopher Wray, as the congresswoman announced via a press release on her website on May 16.

Greene alleges that under Wray's supervision, the FBI intimidated, harassed, and entrapped American citizens deemed to be enemies of the Biden administration. She also claims that Director Wray has thus transformed the FBI into the personal police force of Joe Biden and Merrick Garland.

"The Soviet-style tactics used by the FBI against normal Americans are unprecedented in this country," Greene said in the press release.

"FBI whistleblower Garret O’Boyle told congressional investigators that the FBI created a terrorist threat tag following the Dobbs Supreme Court decision in 2022. O’Boyle confirmed that the purpose of the tag was to target pro-life individuals.

"On September 23, 2022, armed FBI agents in tactical gear raided the family home of Mark Houck, a pro-life Catholic and father of 7 young children, because he obstructed access to an abortion clinic."

The congresswoman went on to outline other issues that she believes caused by Wray's ledership. Greene specifically cited the alleged attempted kidnapping of Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, as well as the FBI raid of former President Donald Trumps home in Mar-a-Lago.

"Not only has Director Wray persecuted political opponents in an unprecedented and partisan way, but he has also overseen his agency take actions to shield and protect the current President and his family," the press release went on. "A senior FBI official left the agency under a cloud of accusations that he shielded a laptop belonging to the President’s son, Robert Hunter Biden, from a criminal probe.

"It is unacceptable for the Director of the FBI or any civil officer to exercise his power in a way that targets one political class while doing favors for the other."

On the same day Greene introduced Articles of Impeachment against U.S. Attorney Matthew Graves who she asserts "totally subverted the justice system of the United States and facilitated the explosion of violent crime in Washington D.C. by refusing to prosecute violent crimes."

As foundation for her move the lawmaker asserts that during his time in office, Graves has chosen not to pursue 67% of crimes in the District of Columbia.

D.C. Police Chief Robert Congee responded to that decision saying, "Violent people need to stay in jail. When people talk about what we're going to do differently, what we should do differently, or what we need to do differently, that's what we need to do differently."

Just a day later Greene introduced Articles of Impeachment against Attorney General Merrick Garland and Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas.

Greene claimed that Garland has "completely weaponized the Department of ‘Injustice.’ The politicization of the DOJ has resulted in the persecution of the left’s political enemies, and a two-tiered justice system," as the reason for her move against his office.

As for Mayorkas Greene's press release asserted that the secretary "has aided and abetted the complete invasion of our country by deliberately flooding our nation with drugs, terrorists, and illegal aliens."
