Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) has introduced articles of impeachment against FBI Director Christopher Wray for allowing the FBI to act as an enforcer for the Democrat Party.
The articles allege that Wray acted "in a manner grossly incompatible with democracy” as well as using the FBI's extensive power “to subvert freedom." Green cited countless examples of the FBI abusing its power and targeting conservatives while turning a blind eye to Democrats.
From labeling Catholic's as “violent extremists,” to raiding the home of a pro-life protestor with a SWAT team, the FBI has become a partisan agency waging intimidation campaigns against conservatives.
Wray has overseen all of this and may have even directly guided some of these abuses although the extent of his responsibility is unknown. Whether Wray is directly responsible or not is irrelevant as all of these abuses have happened under his watch.
Cleaning out the FBI is the first step towards cleaning up corruption in Washington D.C. and it begins with taking out those overseeing the FBI's corrupt activities.
Greene wrote in a statement alongside the articles that, "Christopher Asher Wray, Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, is impeached for facilitating the development of a Federal police force to intimidate, harass, and entrap American citizens that are deemed enemies of the Biden regime."
Since Republicans hold a majority in the House of Representatives, Wray's impeachment will be a simple victory for Republicans.
Once the House impeaches Wray, things will get trickier in Congress's upper chamber. To convict and remove Wray from office, two-third's of the Senate will have to vote for conviction.
Since Democrats hold a majority in the Senate, it seems highly unlikely that Wray would actually be removed from office.
Nonetheless impeaching him would reflect poorly on the Biden administration and give Republicans much needed ammunition to use against President Biden in next year's election.
The FBI is the greatest threat to American freedom and has already successfully influenced multiple elections.
The Russian collusion hoax would never have happened without the partisan actors within the FBI that were determined to undermine former President Donald Trump by any means necessary.
The only reason we know as much as we do about what the FBI has done is because of brave whistleblowers who have come forward despite the threats and intimidation leveled against them.
Republicans have flopped around for too long when it comes to cleaning out the FBI. If they want conservatives to vote for them, they must purge the corruption from the FBI while punishing those high-ranking officials who are in charge.
